James M. Clancy

James (Jim) Clancy is a good attorney who I would retain again if deemed necessary. He is connected to an excellent personal injury Law Firm. The only issue I had was communication. I would like to be updated on the case when there is a status conference /hearing, where my appearance is not necessa...ry.

After an accident at work (that required surgery), I followed all the Company’s Workman comp insurance policies and months went by with no communication from them. I tried to get the surgery without an Attorney, but the Insurance Company gave me no choice. I hired Mr Clancy, he got my Surgery approv...ed, twice the Insurance Company shorted my benefits and he had it corrected right away. Mr. Clancy got me a fair settlement. He’s very professional and knowledgeable, explains the legal process in layman’s terms. I would definitely recommend his services.

I was very pleased with James' work. Every time I spoke with him, he explained everything clearly. The reason I did not give him 5 stars is because I would have liked to have had a bit more communication and there were 1-2 times that I left messages that went unreturned. However, I would recommend J...ames to others.

I recently had my workers comp case settled after 3 long years because the insurance company kept changing personnel and I had the impression that the Insurance company was just hoping I would go away. During that time I would drop Mr Clancy a note inquiring about the status of the case and he ALWAYS... responded to my questions in a very short amount of time. I appreciated Mr Clancy's attentiveness to my situation even though I am sure he must have dozens of clients that he is handling at the same time. Be sure that if you choose Mr Clancy, you will be compensated and never "shuffled" to the bottom of the pile.

I woke up one day and everything was fine. Within two hours my life changed completely when I fell on the ice at work. After being treated at a hospital and in horrible pain, I didn't know what to do next. I didn't know when or if I could return to work and I certainly didn't know what my rights we...re. A friend gave me Mr. Clancy's number and I promptly made an appointment. He saw me right away and I felt then as I do now completely at ease. He explained the entire process step by step, all of my options, and was honest about the possible outcomes. It was a scary and painful time in my life and I felt at ease with his extensive knowledge and experience. Mr. Clancy always took the time to listen and review any questions or concerns I had during this entire process, which put my mind at ease. Having never been through anything like this before, he always made sure I knew what to expect. As in any legal matter, the wheels of justice don't turn as fast as we would like, however, things were happening behind the scenes that always amazed me. I would get a notification in the mail and think to myself wow, Jim is really on top of this or that. I used to go on message boards to see what others were experiencing and the problems they were having. The individuals on there were shocked that I was still receiving different benefits they were being denied. They continually would say "that is unheard of, you have a great lawyer", I smiled and thought to myself, yes, I do! As a side note, his secretary Kathy (I can't say enough nice things about her), is wonderful, as is the rest of his team. For this aspect of my life I made the best decision the day I picked up the phone and spoke to Jim.
