I experienced personal turmoil in deciding whether or not to declare bankruptcy. I agonized over the issue for four months. I was physically sickened by the thought of it. If a client lies or deceives him, it will only work against the client when his or her bankruptcy case goes before the assigned trustee. Be honest from the beginning and provide Robert with full disclosure. He is not judgmental. He will not demean or degrade you. He will simply tell you the facts and what would work best for you. It has been my experience during my 62 years of life that the term, "ethical attorney," is often an oxymoron. Robert is an exception. I sincerely wish he handled areas of law beyond bankruptcy because I would always want to defer to his judgment. My final declaration of bankruptcy arrived on January 16, 2015, almost four months after the process began, which is typical for many petitioners. Robert was with me from start-to-finish. I will forever be grateful to him.
