Jeffrey H Schervone

Jeff Schervone is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. 

Jeff counsels clients on all types of insurance coverage and claims.  In addition, Jeff represents and counsels clients on residential and commercial real estate matters, predominantly in southern New Jersey.  Jeff also successfully represents and defends employers from a wide array of industries in a variety of employment claims in administrative agencies and in federal and state courts.  

Jeff represents business and other clients on a wide range of other issues including civil litigation, review and advice on contracts, insurance, discovery subpoenas and letters, ethical and regulatory compliance, loan workouts, employment agreements and employee handbooks. 

During his legal career, Jeff served as coverage and monitoring counsel for domestic and international insurers, he managed nationwide claims in EPLI, D&O, E&O, construction defects, architects & engineers and other professional liability insurance programs. He also served as senior litigation counsel for clients in state and federal courts in many areas of law, including coverage disputes and bad faith, mortgage fraud, business disputes, creditor’s rights, foreclosures, secured transactions, and commercial transportation.  Other matters include commercial business disputes, premises liability, personal injury, commercial transportation, foreclosures, legal malpractice, construction defects, collections, real estate litigation, equipment financing, defense of federal FDCPA and FCRA claims, patent infringement, mechanics' liens, and pro bono matters.  

Jeff is admitted in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. 

Jeff is also a Commercial Arbitrator, appointed in November 2014 by the Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington County. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Camden County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. 

Jeff handles cases for active duty servicemembers as a volunteer attorney for the ABA Military Pro Bono Project. 

Jeff Schervone received a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law-Camden in New Jersey in 2003. He graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1990 with a B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering.

Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked in the construction industry as a manager of electrical construction material sales.  From 1990 to 1994, Jeff was an electrical engineer and contracts manager for Israel Aerospace Industries, MALAT UAV plant located in Lod, Israel.
