TOMMIE ANN GIBNEY is an attorney with the Haddonfield , New Jersey law firm of Andres & Berger, P.C. where she represents clients who have suffered personal injury as the result of nursing home abuse and neglect, defective products, professional and medical malpractice as well as automobile collisions and other acts of negligence. Ms. Gibney received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Seton Hall University and her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law where she served as Articles Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. She has been certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney. Ms. Gibney is the Immediate Past President of the New Jersey Association for Justice (formerly ATLA-NJ) and currently serves as Co-Chair of the NJAJ Women Trial Lawyers’ Caucus. Ms. Gibney is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts for New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia as well as the Supreme Court of the United States. She is a member of the American Association of Justice, the American Bar Association, the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and District of Columbia Bar Association and is active in the Camden and Burlington County Bar Associations. Ms. Gibney has been designated as a "Super Lawyer" by New Jersey Monthly magazine and has been peer-selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America®, Sixteenth Edition, in the speciality of personal injury litigation. She was profiled in "Women and Minorities in the Legal Profession", New Jersey Law Journal, August 29, 2005, a special report highlighting high-achieving women and minority lawyers in New Jersey and is a frequent lecturer and author of continuing legal education materials for trial attorneys on the issues of damages, tortious conduct, negligence and insurance coverage issues.
