Estate Battle

Absolutely awful experience!! I started off with paying a hefty retainer fee. The reason I hired this attorney was because my brother was doing shady dealings with my dads property after he passed away. My brother tried illegally putting the property in his name. After speaking with Dan,the attorney... I hired he said this indeed was illegal and stated the case would go in my favor. According to my brother, my dad also had a "will" but ironically he wasnt able to come up with it. Dan made it known he would get what I asked for based off of all the evidence presented. All I asked was to have equal assets to my father's estate which is what my dad would have wanted. Since my brother was not forthcoming with documents of my dads property, Dan sought to make me the Administrator. After months and months gone by nothing went in my favor. Insteas of Administrator I ended up being " co administrator" but I was never given any opportunity to make any decisions on my dad's estate. Only thing I kept getting was billed for 'ridiculous exacerbated services. My brother had hired an attorney of his own and Dan played into that attorneys hands and my case ended up like it began with everything going in my brother's favor. *To make things worse, I had no say in making any decisions on the estate even though I was supposed to have rights too. * I asked for the "will" my dad was supposed to have had in my brother's possession but no will was ever produced. * I asked for my dads house not to be sold because it was sentimental. My brother was eager to sell it and Dan didnt even try to fight the sale and allowed the property to be sold. *My dad had a vintage vehicle in his possession but Dan didnt even try to locate the vehicle which was in my brother's possession along with other estate assets. After hiring this attorney, I did not receive not 1 thing I hired him for but mounting attorneys fees. My brother got what he wanted and I received nothing. This attorney did nothing I ask of him and he didn't fight on my behalf in any way but string me along. Im stuck and still mourning my dads passing and dealing with a sheisty brother, not to mention the mounting attorney fees being taken out of my portion of the estate. All he seemed to care about is the attorneys fees and not fighting on my behalf. The attorney wouldnt even allow his fees to be paid by my brother who caused me to file the suit in the first place for his illegal action on my dad's property. After knowing what I know now, I would never had hired or trusted this attorney sought a truthful attorney who would have fought on my behalf. If I could leave no stars, I would. Im beyond disappointment..
