Steven Alan Traub

I received a Reckless Driving 5-point ticket in a Camden County town. Officer didn't like the way I changed lanes. We pleaded down to Unsafe Driving (Which is a larger fine but no points and no recurring insurance charges). Admittedly it had been 19 years since my last traffic violation, which I'...m sure helped the judges decision... but stepping down from 5 points to no points is a huge win regardless of the circumstances (in my mind). Never had to go to a trial with officer. Simply negotiated with prosecutor at initial hearing, and judge agreed.

Mr. Traub was successful in obtaining a dismissal for my careless driving ticket. He graciously provided extensive advice (on several occasions) even prior to his retention, and it is my belief that he sincerely cared about the outcome of my case. He is very professional, knowledgeable, accessible ...and has a wonderful personality. It was truly a pleasure to have him represent me, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking a positive result.

I am happy to say that I have not needed to spend much time inside a courtroom in my life, but when I was in a car accident recently, I did. I hired Steven for a careless driving traffic ticket, one that I thought was utterly unfair, as an accident does not equal carelessness. The prosecution initially offered, in an intimidating manner, a plea bargain to unsafe driving that would reduce the charge but incur a very large fine. (That's the...ir way of generating revenue.) That's when I hired Steven. He was able to get my charge reduced even further, and the fine was reduced by 1/5th with no points! So the cost of the attorney plus the fine was much less than the plea bargain cost. Steven is also experienced on the other side, so if you're in Burlington County, he knows the people prosecuting you and the judges and how they usually rule. But most of all, Steven is a genuinely good person to deal with. He's the complete opposite of the negative lawyer stereotypes. He's soft-spoken and humble. He listens, is responsive, and really wants to help. I was feeling very anxious, as this is the first time I've needed legal counsel, and he gave me enormous peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy the holidays. Hiring Steven to represent me was a great decision and money extremely well spent. He was a pleasure to deal with, and although I hope I'll never need his services again, in case I do, I would hire him again in a heartbeat.
