A wonderful lawyer that you can trust your family's future with....
Alan Schorr is without a doubt, the single best lawyer one would need, when one needs to take action against their former employer. Mr. Schorr fought for me, day in and day out for as long as it took, as if I was family. Everything is personal to Mr. Schorr and he ensures that he gets the best possible outcome for his client. That he proved when I hired him. He and his staff kept in constant contact with me thru out the process never having to chase after information. Mr. Schorr personally handled all negotiations with opposing counsel and followed up on all important details himself. I was very relieved that Mr. Schorr was able to do what he had to in a relative short period of time to get me closure. His resources are deep as he knows everyone thru out the state but more importantly, everyone thru out the state knew the reputation of Alan Schorr and that reputation speak volumes when one trusts their family’s future in their lawyer. Severence Issue
Alan was extremely receptive from the moment I contacted him. He led me through the entire process of setting up my paperwork and reviewing it in a very detailed and understandable manner. He was always available and would call me back promptly and answered all my emails even when he was not at the office. Tis made my situation much more comfortable and led to a speedy and much needed positive conclusion. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs the time and effort to be heard.

Top-Notch Lawyer
Alan Schorr is an incredibly effective employment attorney. I was a bit nervous at first about even contacting and hiring an attorney to handle my matter with my former employer, but Alan made the entire experience feel focused and efficient while taking the time to get to know his client. Alan communicated very clearly and made all the legal terminology easier to understand, which helped put things into proper perspective. He offered suggestions for what he thought would be the best approach to the case and how the other parties would possibly respond. He was extremely knowledgeable; always providing detailed answers with additional examples to support the many questions that I had asked throughout. Don't Face An Unemployment Appeal Without Alan Schorr
Alan and his team represented me when a former employer had provided NJ Unemployment with false information in order to revoke my unemployment benefits. I was facing not only the loss of future benefits but a demand to repay benefits already received. Alan was recommended by my attorney handling my efforts to seek back wages and damages through my legal action for wrongful termination against my former employer. BEST RECOMMENDATION! Alan was upfront and direct in response to my questions. He handled my appeal with the state of NJ and got my unemployment benefits restored, including a reversal of the states demand for repayment of the benefits received. Don’t walk into an unemployment appeal without the representation of someone as skilled as Alan and his staff! If you’re in New Jersey, hire Alan’s firm. You won’t regret it!

Schorr & Associates is an Excellent firm!
After receiving a terrible severance package, My Wife and I were notified to contact a law firm regarding the matter before anything was signed. After consulting with Mr. Alan Schorr we determined to have a case for several reasons. Mr.Schorr since then has be an excellent attorney always helpful with any questions and keep me up to date regarding the case the entire time. With Allen in your Corner YOU CAN'T LOSE!
I was referred to Mr. Schorr by another Attorney that I contacted with help resolving a dispute where-by The Department of Labor was demanding over $30,000 in unemployment benefits be returned to them. Mr. Shorr and his very professional team guided me though the process from start to finish and could not have done a better job representing me. I only gave five stars because I could not give 10! From his Associate Christine to Shara in the office, this is a team that really knows what they are doing. PUT YOUR FAITH IN THIS LAW FIRM, they will never let you down!

Unemployment
I was receiving unemployment due to the pandemic for about a year when unemployment notified me that they decided I was not eligible. They also wanted me to pay back all the money I received. I was still unemployed due to the ongoing pandemic and had no way to pay back all that money. It was devastating and I was very upset. Unemployment said I could appeal but it was a very daunting task to try to do myself. Schorr and associates were wonderful right from the beginning to the end. We won the case and I give all the credit to Schorr and associates.

Although, I was considered a disposable “at will” employee, Alan was willing to evaluate the facts and realized some inconsistencies regarding my termination. Reliable and knowledgeable Lawyer
I had an issue with my unemployment benefits and had to appeal. I found Schorr and Associates while looking for help appealing the decision and i am so happy that i did so. It was a situation I was not sure how to handle but Alan and his staff helped me get through the process. Alan also prepared me for the hearing very well and the hearing was ruled in my favor in the end. I’ll recommend them to anyone looking for legal help and if I need to hire a lawyer again Schorr and Associates is absolutely who I am going to.
