I contacted her for help on my SS case! In 2 years I never heard from anybody, I had to call after a year and ask what was going on! I finally got a call from a paralegal who said I had a heading date—once ms Berenato arrived she sat down n did not say a word to me. Once we got in front of the judge,... she literally said about 5 words on my behalf! When it was over, I asked a question & ms Berenato said “I’ll explain everything outside” once we got outside she said to me—and I quote “Thanks for coming in”!!!! 90 days later I was denied—called her office & was told she would call me and advise me what to do next as far as an appeal—-Never heard from her! TERRIBLE ! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL

I was waiting for a court date for over 2 1/2 years then day of court I checked my mail on my out and I received a letter from her stating she is withdrawing from my case. Went to court and showed them the letter they were shocked by that. She never updated my records over a year. If she didn’t want ...to continue my case all she had to do is let me know well before the court date. Would never recommend her to anyone.

I consulted with Ms.Berenato to get help with my social security disability after I had been denied previously. There was little to no help from Ms.Berenato. I was told by disability that she hadn't sent in any of the medical records they had requested months before . Now I'm going to appeal and will... not be rehiring. She has sent me papers that I've already signed from disability and If I'm out of work on disability I have no money to spend on envelopes and stamps to send the same papers that disability already has . There was no communication at all. Could not get in touch with her to save my life and the one time I was able to she argued me down about me not doing doing what I needed to do because I told her disability told me they didn't receive medical records. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAWYER TO ANY ONE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNORGANIZED. ! I definitely would have been better off appealing my first denial. Months later I've had my second surgery and still nothing .
