Amazing Attorney

I want to thank Liz Berenato of Bross and Frankel for the amazing job she did with my case. Throughout the entire process she was a calming shoulder to lean on. She navigated through all the details, taking the stress away from me. Would work with her again in a heartbeat!

Best there is!

I am very pleased with the outcome! We talked on the phone. She was very nice and was focused on winning my case. She won my case and I couldn't be happier. Would recommend to anyone and if need be would hire her in a heart beat! Thanks Ms. Berenato!

Awful

Elizabeth was handling my partners case after being referred by Magram & Associates. everything in the beginning was great. When time came to appear in court everything was going fine until the judge for the case got changed to one that Ms Berenato was not familiar with and had no rapport with. Long ...story short we were denied. When the time came for an appeal Ms. Berenato ghosted us. We got a letter stating she changed firms. WE ATTEMPTED SEVERAL TIMES to speak to her. Voicemail after voicemail. EMAIL AFTER EMAIL. with no response. She completely disappeared with no communication as to how to proceed further. I have since taken over my partners case while I look for new representation. She is a disgusting, awful, peice of garbage for treating any client this way. No respect whatsoever.

Unreal

Mrs. Berenato is very unprofessional, like most have said. I've waited 2 yrs for a court date, after constantly calling the office to find out the status of my case. Every time I called I always got her voicemail ,left messages it would take weeks for her to return my call or wouldn't receive a cal...l back. I received my court date ,she didn't call me into the office to prepare for my hearing. At my hearing she only said 5 words, needless to say i was denied. Now , I have to file an appeal trust me I will not be contacting her again. Do yourself a favor and check out the attorneys background before you retain . I should've went with my gut feeling and consulted with another attorney about my case. I figured it was to late since I had a court date already. If she didn't want to take my case she should've been straight forward.

Awful attorney

I was waiting for a court date for over 2 1/2 years then day of court I checked my mail on my out and I received a letter from her stating she is withdrawing from my case. Went to court and showed them the letter they were shocked by that. She never updated my records over a year. If she didn’t want ...to continue my case all she had to do is let me know well before the court date. Would never recommend her to anyone.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
