David Morgan Blackwell

Mr. Blackwell represents employers and employees throughout New Jersey in a wide range of employment law matters, including workplace disputes involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and workplace accommodations.

As part of the direct client services Mr. Blackwell provides, he also advises individuals and families with trust and estate planning, gift and succession planning and, if necessary, litigation relating to trusts and estates. Mr. Blackwell also prepares wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advance health care directives.

In addition, Mr. Blackwell represents clients in a broad range of general civil litigation matters. His litigation experience includes breach of contract claims, business torts, employment disputes, and other business-related conflicts. Drawing on more than thirty years of experience in both state and federal courts, Mr. Blackwell works with clients to develop practical legal strategies to address disputes and pursue their business and legal objectives.

Mr. Blackwell was selected to the list of NJ Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters in 2026. This is his eighth consecutive year of selection.
