The Law Firm of Alice M. Plastoris was established in 1997. Since that time we have concentrated on helping our clients resolve their legal problems in a sensitive and professional manner. We help our clients navigate through the most emotional and stressful legal problems people face in their lives.

Ms. Plastoris has been appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the District Ethics Comittee for Morris and Sussex County for a four year term from 2005-2009.  Ms. Plastoris was thereafter appointed by the New Jersey Suprene Court to the District Fee Arbitration Committe for Morris and Sussex County for a four year term 2010-2014.

In response to the current banking crisis, since 2008, Ms Plastoris obtained her Supreme Court certification as a Civil, Chancery, Probate and Foreclosure Mediator. In 2013, Ms. Plastoris became an American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Trained Arbitrator.  She  offers private mediation and arbittration services in civil, chancery and matrimonial matters and is also appointed by the Court..

As a former Municipal Public Defender, Ms. Plastoris also possesses expertise in Municipal Court matters, including Disorderly Persons Offenses, Traffic Violations, Driving While Intoxicated; and Juvenile Criminal matters.  Ms. Plastoris also represents clients in Domestic Violence matters.

The law firm also provides services in the areas of Residential Real Estate General Chancery Practice, including Estate and Trustes litigation and  Guardianship.

We are located in Morristown, New Jersey, one block from the Morristown Green and across from the Morris County Courthouse, and represent clients from Central to Northern New Jersey in Morris, Sussex, Warren, Essex, Union, Passaic, Bergen, Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. Our clients are always treated with respect and our goal is to find the most cost effective and creative solutions to your legal problems. We are committed to providing the highest quality legal services to you and your business in a timely fashion.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We charge an initial consultation fee for matrimonial and family law  and other litigation matters and thereafter enter into retainer agreements with our clients. Our fee is usually based on an hourly rate. In addition, we handle residential real estate closings at a fixed rate.
