Diane was amazing and helped me out when I needed help the most. I had two really hard family court issues that I needed counsel for and I honestly do not know where I would have been with out Diane's compassion, understanding, and hard work. She is honestly the kindest person I have met, and she tru...ly takes a vested interest in her clients. A few months ago I was faced with the decision of getting a divorce. I tried this five years ago unsuccessfully and I found myself faced with this decision again. I was afraid I would start this again and back down. I needed an attorney that had my kids’ best interest at heart – not someone lookin...g to make money by doing a routine job. Friends of mine recommended that I call Diane. I dragged my feet a little bit and made the call and left a message. She returned my call within the same afternoon and spent time on the phone talking to me and reassured me that I could do this!!! When we met I knew that she was sincere, kind, sensitive, and compassionate. She was respectful of my thoughts and values and never made me feel like I was just a client. Throughout this process when things got rough, she always was there to reassure me that I could do it and that better days were ahead. The day of the hearing she met with me beforehand to ease my mind and tell me what to expect. I was well prepared. Throughout the hearing she kept my eye contact which was really comforting and encouraging for me to continue. Although she didn’t have to, she went through each part of the settlement agreement so that no one is able to question its contents, or say they missed information. She was so organized and thorough even someone who didn’t know the case could get everything they needed out of her presentation and questioning. Even afterward, Diane is kind, compassionate and quick in responding to any of my questions. I was able to get what was needed to support my kids and myseIf without a long drawn out battle. would highly recommend Diane Mc Neill to anyone who is thinking about getting a divorce. Let's face it, getting divorced is the awful. Getting divorced when kids are involved is even worse. Diane McNeill did everything she could to keep me informed, she helped me make decisions and most importantly, she kept me grounded. She is so down to earth and easy to talk to. Any time I was a ...little more scared than normal or wanted to back down, she would let me vent to her and then explain my options. My ex wanted more and more custody time with our son, she made me understand the ways we could make it work without my losing important bonding time with him, There is a distance and driving issue with my ex, Diane also helped me work it out so that I don't have to do the driving. All in all, she was always responsive to any emails, calls that came from me or the other lawyer involved. I couldn't have made it through what was probably the worst 7 months of my life without her.
