I worked with Diane to request the emancipation of 2 of 3 children who had finished college, adjust my child support commitment and arrange for the eventual emancipation of my 3rd child after his college graduation in a years time. My ex-wife and her council agreed (after a waste of time and money...) to our original request ... 9 months later. Throughout the entire exercise, Diane stayed focused on the family guidelines/rules/laws and was very reluctant to consider adding drama or extraneous information to any of our court writings and discussions. I think I can best summarize my experience with Diane in saying that I wish I had used her in my initial divorce proceedings. And just as importantly, I would/will recommend Diane for family council to anyone asking for a reference.

A few months ago I was faced with the decision of getting a divorce. I tried this five years ago unsuccessfully and I found myself faced with this decision again. I was afraid I would start this again and back down. I needed an attorney that had my kids’ best interest at heart – not someone lookin...g to make money by doing a routine job. Friends of mine recommended that I call Diane. I dragged my feet a little bit and made the call and left a message. She returned my call within the same afternoon and spent time on the phone talking to me and reassured me that I could do this!!! When we met I knew that she was sincere, kind, sensitive, and compassionate. She was respectful of my thoughts and values and never made me feel like I was just a client. Throughout this process when things got rough, she always was there to reassure me that I could do it and that better days were ahead. The day of the hearing she met with me beforehand to ease my mind and tell me what to expect. I was well prepared. Throughout the hearing she kept my eye contact which was really comforting and encouraging for me to continue. Although she didn’t have to, she went through each part of the settlement agreement so that no one is able to question its contents, or say they missed information. She was so organized and thorough even someone who didn’t know the case could get everything they needed out of her presentation and questioning. Even afterward, Diane is kind, compassionate and quick in responding to any of my questions. I was able to get what was needed to support my kids and myseIf without a long drawn out battle. would highly recommend Diane Mc Neill to anyone who is thinking about getting a divorce. Thanks to Diane my life has brighter days ahead!!!

I've dealt with lawyers before and it has been not a good pleasant experience, but dealing with Diane was the most wonderful experience ever.
