After having a botched defense by my previous attorney that put me in a serious spot - and I mean very serious- I was lost. I am a licensed truck driver in NJ, which means I cannot (AND DO NOT) drive under the influence. Nevertheless, while driving my car on Route 206, I was stopped in Bedminster and arrested for DUI even though I was completely sober and blew a 0.00 on the breathalyzer. I immediately hired Mr. Ware, know...ing that the penalties for a DUI conviction on my driving record would have been severe and permanent: I would have lost my CDL license for a year and ultimately would have lost my livelihood. What employer would hire a driver with a previous DUI conviction? Nor would I be able to drive into Canada any longer since that country prohibits entry to drivers with a DUI on their driving record.
