I owe Bill Strazza everything. Could not recommend his firm enough.

I owe Bill everything for the depth and level of effort he put into my case. A bouncer who opted to attack me from behind lied and pressed charges claiming I assaulted him which led to an arrest that derailed my life for 3 years and still affects me to this day. I was arrested and charged with 2nd De...gree Aggravated Assault and Bill Strazza and Matthew Werner took the case as my defense attorney. Early on in the case when we received discovery and Bill saw the very obvious signs of self-defense that had occurred in my case he stated to me "There are few cases where I can state definitively that the client is innocent. This is one of those cases." He then proceeded to aggressively litigate my case and tries to get the charges dropped over 3 years. My case went through 3 prosecutors and 2 judges before it went to trial after 1149 days. With no successful resolution a court date was finally set in 2017. That same year - this man suffered a heartbreaking personal loss a few months prior to my trial. When offered to reschedule the trial for his sake - he insists that the trial proceed "because I wont watch an innocent man suffer any longer than he has to". He then proceeds to display the most brilliant defense of my case I had ever witnessed. He manages to prove to the entire jury that the bouncer was lying under oath - he shows a video footage which shows I am the one assaulted from behind from not one angle but multiple angles. He even managed to get another bouncer to AGREE THAT I WAS ASSAULTED and caught a slip from the detective investigating my case where he states he "arrested the victim". He places me on the stand (usually you dont do this) because he was confident that it would help the case - and it did. I was found unanimously not guilty of a second degree charge of assault as well as all the lesser ones. But he doesn't stop there - he pursues civil charges against the bouncer, venue, and PD, and waives all legal fees on the settlement. I am sitting here holding my kids who would not be here were it not for Bill. I would, and do, recommend him first and foremost because he has the one thing that I have seen in few lawyers: a heartfelt desire to defend you not for a win but for justice itself.

He's Just a scammer manipulative thief

Strazza Came off polite and educated . He presented himself as he could be beneficial with my particular situation only to find out he was utterly clueless to represent me and my concerns. I demanded a refund as he totally misrepresented himself as someone who cares and could be of assistance he d...enied my request , He's merely a fraud taking advantage of the vulnerable nothing more then a hustler. Heed my warning as a devout Christian we all have to stand in front of God and be judged and are accountable for our actions .He'll rob you blind ,The irony a criminal defense attorney is the actual criminal . He has no absolutely conscious he's just a deceptive sociopath in my opinion ,If you look at his reviews a lot are bunched together posted on the same day or consecutive days they're as fake as him .

Almost forgot my 1st petty drug crime

A friend thats now dead from an overdose was caught with a minor amount of heroin under an ounce We were all addicts we sold to get by but no means were we major drug dealers major dealers dont get arrested for under an oz of drugs or get caught with under 1k$ in cash they actually make money and don...’t get high on every possible bag they can afford to use. 17-18yr olds major dealers get caught with MINIMUM 125 grams of pure drugs and a MINIMUM of 100k$ in cash not 825$ major dealers dont shoot heroin in there neck After my friend was arrested Rest In Peace Evan.needles were found in my car so I was charged Im not sure how I was introduced to Mr Strazza but I was and paid 5k$ 2 get the charge off my record which it’s not It was a measly misdemeanor charge of possession of a hypodermic instrument At a later court date regarding a different case I told the judge at the time who I believe to be a sociopath that my arrest was for a needle and not drugs Strazza then told this judge that it wasnt a needle charge it was a possession of drugs charge while facing a drug charge this did not look good at all and was just a plain lie This made me look untrustworthy to the judge that in his opinion I was trying to minimize my charge when I was just stating my actual charge The more I look at my court minutes the more I get very upset and angry bcuz I was a complete fool I might be going through a manic episode right now but everything Im saying is true to the fullest extent Keep in mind I didn’t have bi-polar schizoaffective disorder before being sentenced to 5yrs in prison at the age of 18 on my 1st offense which Strazza was also my lawyer on that case as well if I posted my court minutes you might be wondering whos my defense attorney and whos the DA bcuz the DA made almost no comments he actually apologized to my family after my court appearance but Strazza made comments such as long statements about my wrongdoings The DA literally did not have 2 even make his case for the judge it was sealed by Strazza and Flaherty who is now dead as well So I won’t put all the blame on Strazza since he was only 1 of the two lawyers representing me flaherty gave us $ back tho People will probably read this comment and say well what about you? Dont u have a part in this and shud take on the responsibilities that u got yourself in2? My answer to that is absolutely not I was an IV heroin user since 15 so at 18 at my arrest I was really immature with a brain that was far from developed due to my early on drug use I was a complete moron I 100% agree I was as dum as a rock when it came to the law but does that mean that I should be taken advantage of and have to sell my car My parents were desperate their kid was stuck in a horrible legal system where they felt powerless and wud have handed over their house which Im sure Strazza would have gladly taken if it was offered bcuz that seemed to be the actual goal the goal was to overcharge my family bcuz we were just suckers at this point At court we were to have a hearing on whether I was a major drug dealer conspired to cause severe injury or death to law enforcement among various other absurd claims Instead of having the hearing and fight these allegations I was told to just admit to every single lie they said about me al bcuz of sum childish FB posts which Im sure the judge already new about So after saying yes to all the allegations 2 avoid FB posts it was like confessing 2 b Ted Bundy when my name isn’t Ted or Bundy No objections were made at all The plan was to appeal but I signed an appeal waiver that was not attempted to be off the plea deal he said he wud appeal my case but didnt bcuz I cudnt I lost all appeals 3yrs in I start learning the law nd file a writ pro-se and civil suits I wil now take my plea back with a 440 I will nver pay a lawyer again a public defender wud hve got me the same time beware of lawyers even tho I will b a lawyer myself in 4 yrs I only get paid 2 win civil cases

Got me 5yrs and I’m pretty sure he was happy about it

Basically I was told take the plea and we’ll appeal it just so happens that’s not how the law works. So I was tricked into taking this 5yr plea for a possession of less then 5 grams of drugs and 2 yrs parole then when I tried to appeal he surely wasn’t there he got his 15k$ he got me to cop out his j...ob was done. He took advantage of a suffering family that had a drug addict son at 18 facing multiple fabricated drug charges. I ended up losing all appeals did 2 yrs in solitary 1.5 yrs in a max A prison and came home on SSI because I was so damaged mentally I still can’t function normally I’m still in prison mentally I don’t have nightmares my nightmares are dreaming of being stuck in prison. Since getting out and finishing parole I got my associates degree and am almost done with my law and society degree next stop law school. I’ll be putting in a 440 myself and taking my plea back because no 18 yr old should have to go what I went through and not get a YO. 15k$ down the drain I always knew you hated me every time I read my minutes it screams it in my face.

Amazing lawyer

Bill was a phenomenal lawyer. He helped us with a juvenile issue for our child who requires special education. Bill’s understanding of the juvenile law and process were fantastic. Bill’s added expertise around children with special needs, was tremendously helpful. On top of his expertise, Bill has ...great soft skills as explained everything to us patiently, which helped put our mind at ease that we were in good hands. I cant say enough good things about Bill!
