Tanya has provided legal representation for me on 3 occasions, for the purchase of two homes in NJ and the sale of one. My level of satisfaction with Tanya's legal service has been very high as evidenced by the fact that i am a repeat customer. She has provided a consistent level of service each time.... From the outset, her work ethic and dedication were excellent. Her response times were extremely fast, always the same day and often within the hour. She was never a rate limiting factor. She is highly efficient, has subject matter expertise, and is resourceful in resolving issues that come up in purchasing or buying a home (which are an inherent part of the process). Most notably, though, i trust Tanya. At a few critical junctures, she got right on the phone with me to talk things through and helped counsel me through tough decisions. One such example was when she advised me against a buyer request that i was considering that she felt put me at risk. In that instance, she did not put speed before judgment, and i felt reassured that i had made the lowest-risk decision. On another occasion, i appreciated her making the effort to really dig into the background of some easements on the property I was purchasing to ensure complete resolution of all outstanding questions and comfort for me as the buyer. I was in a bad situation. I had 2 charges, one for possession of marijuana and the next possession of paraphernalia, I also had a traffic ticket for possession of marijuana in my vehicle. So I was screwed all across the board in one of the toughest states New Jersey, where the marijuana laws are stri...ngent, despite the fact it will be legalized soon. I hired Tanya and I immediately felt at ease. Tanya asked me what happened and I explained my situation. She immediately told me what I had to do and had my court date adjourned being that I hired her in the same week as my court date. Tanya asked for and received the discovery and immediately shared it with me. I looked it over and we went over everything. Tanya informed me of all my options and the situation looked grim. On the day of court I met with Tanya and we discussed the situation once again. Tanya told me the Prosecutor is very tough on these types of cases being that this is considered a criminal act because New Jersey is tough concerning marijuana. Tanya said she would do her best to fight for me and plea my case to the Prosecutor. In the courtroom I nervously waited because I couldn’t afford to lose my license and I was in a town and state I’m not even from. How would I get home? Where would my car go? How would I get back and forth to work? When Tanya came in the courtroom she sat next to me and explained the deal she had worked out with the Prosecutor. Plead guilty to either the charge of possession of marijuana or the charge of possession of paraphernalia, which Tanya advises me to plead to the latter and pay a fine, which she had worked out a low payment arrangement for the fines New Jersey has for these situations. The loss of my license was not recommended (Thank God, thank you Tanya!) although it was up to the Judge, who by the way is a tough Judge) and Tanya pleaded my case to the Judge and Thank God my license was not suspended and I plead guilty to the possession of paraphernalia charge and paid my fine in full. My situation was finished. I thank Tanya for her excellent service and her intelligence in dealing with my situation. Tanya is very professional and I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends. Thank you Tanya once again. God bless.
