Thoughtful and compassionate during initial consultation. Put me at ease. Desired and expected outcome, however, didn't feel like he had my back when at court. Didn' t make me at ease. Was not present when called to bench first time with no explanation. Seemed late and distracted. Needed to be ...called back to court and another day. Impression of not being an important client; seemed aloof and distracted with other cases. Outcome was what was discussed, though. Kudos!. And Michael attended to detail, but subsequent communication during my legal need didn't seem to follow great initial consultation resulting in unnecessary stress. Wanted to FEEL he was there for me.

I was facing several simple assault charges by the Newton Police, which involved my ex-room mate, who had moved out of state. I never had any problems with the law before and I was very concerned about the possibility of facing jail time. Michael assured me that he would discuss the situation with al...l involved, the plaintiff's attorney as well as public prosecutor and come to a satisfactory agreement. Well, Michael, who is very personable, courteous and professional, did more then I expected, or even hoped for and had all these charges dropped, with only a nominal fine for one charge, that I took responsibility for. I did not even have to attend any probation, or community service, which was incredible news to me!
