You don't have to worry with MIKE JUSTICE

I wish I could write more, but my case was over almost instantly once Mike was appointed. He reached out to me immediately and wanted to hear my truth within minutes of a short introduction. He clearly and simply explained to me my case, my possible penalties, and worst/best case scenarios in GREA...T DETAIL. He did an amazing job letting me know he was in my corner 100%, believed me and my story, and he got me off with a "slap" on wrist which was more than I deserved but when it comes to the justice system and its "fairness", Mike got me a deal that saved my business and my future. #TEAMJUSTICE #JUSTICELEAGUEOFLEGENDS #DENY IT

Want Justice? Mr. Mike Justice is your guy

During a very difficult time in my life I was changed with three separate DWI’s Mr. Justice represented me for two of the matters. He was able to explain to me everything I needed to know. He spent time going over how the law applied to my particular events, how the personalities of judge and pr...osecutor involved would impact the case, and what my likely outcome would be if I decided to “make a deal” or try the case. In the first case, he advised that I had a winnable case and that it would be reasonable to take it to trial, but that ultimately it was my call. The prosecutor would not offer a good deal so I decided to go forward with the trial. Mr. Justice was able to poke holes in the the testimomy of the officers and was able to protect me from the prosecutor’s questions when I testified. He was also able to get some of the important facts agreed to in advance so that I did not have to spend unnecessary money in legal fees to get those facts out at the trial. Ultimately, the judge was making his decision at the end of the case and it was looking bad. Then the judge said something and Mike immediately reached over and shook my hand and told me that I had just won the case, that nothing else the judge would say mattered. Then the judge proceeded to convict me! Mr. Justice explained to me that the judge had made a ruling on a particuar important fact, but that the judge didn’t really know how the law applied to that fact. Mr. Justice told me that if the matter were appealed, my chances of success would be extremely good. So he filed the appeal and wrote all of the arguments for my case in a brief. When the day came for the appeal hearing, Mr. Justice made our case to the jugde handling the appeal. I could tell from the judge’s body language and questions he had for Mike that things were going well. When the prosecutor made her case to the judge, he picked her appart for exactly the reason Mike explained to me that he would. He knew right from that very moment when the first judge made the mistake that I would be aquited and why. I was absolutely stunned that all these other lawyers in the room missed it and Mike knew it like it was nothing. So long story short, I won across the board on the appeal and was able to keep my license. For the second case I didn’t have Mike represent me and I ended up being convicted. For the third case, I had Mike again. At first the prosecutor would not provide us with copies of certain evidence we needed to prepare. Mike was able to get the judge to force them to hand it over. Mike poured through the evidence and found something important. He explained it all to me and why it mattered. This time when he spoke to the prosecutor, (not the same one as in the first situation), he was able to convice her that there was a huge problem with their case. After a negotiation that took several appearances, Mike was able to convince the prosecutor that the case should be dismissed. So, out of two DWI’s Mr. Justice handled for me, both were ultimately dismissed. I could not be more happy with his representation, from the comunication, to the availability to talk, his knowledge not just of the law but of the specfic people involved in my case. Mike is a straight shooter. If you have a problem, He’s your guy!

Diligently defended me in a CDL legal matter.

Mr. Justice performed admirably in defending me in a messy leaving the scene of an accident ticket. I am a commercial truck driver based out of state. An early morning incident last summer in which my trailer side-swiped a yellow concrete pole and left it leaning, and which I mistakenly did not rep...ort to police resulted in a court case which potentially could have required my attendance. Mr. Justice got things resolved with minor inconvienence on my part, and kept me informed of ongoing developments in a timely fashion. I would recommend him without hesitation.

don't hire for minor cases

Hired him for 2 municipal court dates that were only about a week away. First question was if he was sure he could make that court date as I wanted to just comply and nicely appear in court, follow the judge's orders, and have it behind me before I left NJ for an undetermined amount of time. Checke...d his calendar and assured me he was. Since time was of the essence I drove his check and other papers up to his office the next day. (not a real office though; no secretaries; you leave paperwork with an unrelated business downstairs. Called and texted him (that's his preferred method of contact) with no response.) Finally reach him today 6 days before my date and he does a total turnaround about being available that day. First his father has a medical appointment, then this is only a first appearance and case is never heard (not true unless your lawyer asks for a new date), becomes irate and offers my check back. We then decide that if he can work out another date with the Court but WITHIN the same week, we could try that and move forward. Ask him to let me know asap the following morning as I would have alot to change in my schedule. 1p.m. no call. I call him to learn that the Court can only move me to the latter part of November (after I am gone out of NJ), shoves me off on another unknown lawyer if he's available, and does all this without even asking me. His excuse for not calling me was that the Court Clerk just was able to speak about 40 minutes ago. I find that weird as anytime I call the Clerk she answered and she was amazingly kind and caring. He continued to belittle me telling me I was stupid to write the "confessions" to the officer involved which was really a letter that the officer told me to write to the Judge. Threatened me that if I wrote a negative review I would be sorry and would not be able to "look at myself in the mirror"??? ( He said my review would ruin his business? One bad review is not going to ruin a lawyer's reputation if the rest of his reviews are different. Mine is my TRUTH. I can look in all my mirrors. Last, I told him if he was so desperate for monies, he could keep my retainer as he must need it more than I do.

My response: This individual retained me late in the afternoon on a Friday. On the very next business day we had a call where it was discovered that I had a personal/family conflict with the court date (there was only one court date not two). I advised I could change the court date. This solution was unacceptable to her and she demanded her check for my retainer back and I agreed without hesitation. Then she changed her mind and said the court date could be moved within the same week. I sent correspondence to the court asking for the move in accordance with her specific instructions. The very next morning I contacted the court who advised they had selected another date on their own accord. Knowing this would not be acceptable I inquired as to the availability of a colleague well known to the court so that I could offer cover counsel as an option to her. While awaiting an answer from him, this individual calls me. I tell her what happened with the date and offer her either to have another attorney go in my stead on the original date or to return her retainer check back. She screams and yells at me and promises to leave me a negative review. It was a very strange experience for me to say the least. The ordeal encompassed 2.5 days in total and did not involve any actual representation. TL:DR woman contacts attorney and discovers a calendar conflict. Attorney offers: 1) court date change; 2) cover counsel at no additional cost; 3) return of retainer fee. Woman cannot be pleased under any circumstances and leaves a scathing review full of lies and inconsistencies. Note also, that I don't personally sort the building's mail. I'm not sure how that makes my office any less "real." I will post a picture or two of my office in the event anyone cares. Prologue: You can tell someone is lying to you when they use phrases like "Mine is my TRUTH" or the like as evidenced above. Also, some individuals lie so much that they can't keep their story straight even within itself. In this example, the reviewer states, "...[he] shoves me off on another unknown lawyer if he's available, and does all this without even asking me." This leaves the reader to question, "if the lawyer didn't ask her about it, then how did she know about it at all? How would she know about the detail of the necessity of the other lawyer’s availability unless she had been told about it in the form of an offer?" I suspect she will modify this review to remove some of the inconsistencies in her statement, so I've taken the liberty of screen shotting it and will post a link to it in the event she does.

Simple Assault

Mike listened to me and explained options about the case... It was dismissed because he argued the case to the prosecutor!! I would definitely use Mike again it was pretty seamless ‼️
