also known as Patricia L. Veres, Esq.
With over twenty five years of experience in family law, divorce, domestic violence, and matrimonial appeals, I continue to strive for excellence in my specialty practice. Superior and personalized attention to detail and client service is always my priority. Over the years, I have brought hundreds of matters to conclusion. I work with my clients to bring them a favorable result. Sometimes, that can only be accomplished by bringing a matter to trial. I am a skilled negotiator, and the vast majority of our matters are concluded by way of a settlement. We pay careful attention to detail, and our clients can be assured that no stone will be left unturned. The dissolution of a marriage and consequent support and distribution of assets and liabilities are important decisions that we take very seriously. I am a seasoned litigator and never shy away from litigation, however, I am also a trained Mediator, Parent Coordinator, and negotiator. We welcome high asset cases, cases involving business valuations, forensic accounting services, high conflict custody and parenting time issues, domestic violence issues, child support, alimony, and cases involving personal injury in the marital context. I currently volunteer for the Jersey Battered Womens' Services Legal Advocacy Project. I previously served on the local Ethics Committee. I have also served as a municipal Councilwoman.

Ms. Veres was very professional and responsive in providing legal advice for my divorce, which was over 3 years ago. I have consulted Ms. Veres for two issues since my divorce. "Pat Veres is the Fee Secretary for the District X Fee Arbitration Committee here in New Jersey and is responsible for the management of all fee arbitration matters within the District. The position is demanding, requires an attention to detail and the ability interact both with attorneys and their clients with professionalism and awareness of the opposing parties' concerns. Having served as Chairman of that committee, I had the opportunity and pleasure to work with Pat Veres. Pat was exemplary in fulfilling her duties as the Fee Secretary, and was quite helpful in responding to other committee members, the attorneys whose fees were disputed, their clients and myself. Having worked with Pat closely over an extended time, I fully recommend her to clients who need a family lawyer capable of handling difficult matters with aplomb and getting the job done."
"Patricia Lynn Veres is an experienced attorney whose participation and comments in Avvo show her commitment to serving clients as well as her level of experience. She is an excellent attorney that I recommend wholeheartedly."
"I have worked with Ms. Veres on several matters. She is prepared and always has her client's goals in mind, working to help the client achieve those goals in the best way possible."
"Ms. Veres is an accomplished litigator and very highly regarded amongst her peers. You can depend on Ms. Veres to zealously advocate your position. She is attentive to her client's needs and is most importantly fair. I endorse her work with the utmost enthusiasm."
