When a physician is sued their Insurance Company will provide them with an attorney under the policy. Alternatively, the physician can retain his own lawyer at his expense. When my case was assigned to Mr. Mancino, I looked him up but did not find much information about him. I later learned that... he does not ask for or request reviews. He is humble, in addition to being a gifted attorney. My case involved nerve damage in a young woman, resulting in permanant disfigurement and loss of function of the facial muscles. Mr. Mancino took me through the entire process during our first meeting. He told me what are strengths and weaknesses were. He told me that I did not deviate from the standard of care. He told me he would try my case without any reservations. From day one he was accessible at the office, on the road and at home. I felt like I had a guardian angel looking out for me. He always protected my personally from credibility attacks by other attorneys and stood by my side throughout three years of pre trial discovery. At trial he was competent, confident and not intimidated. His youthful appearance is an assest as he is apparently underestimated. The other attorney learned the hard way that this was a mistake. The jury found unanimously in my favor. My faith in the legal system and in lawyers was bourne out by Mr. Mancino's professionalism. I will be forever grateful for his advise and counsel.
