I ran into some trouble, no pun intended. I was facing very serious consequences. The first thing I did, was, of course, to do on line searches based on my case. Several firms, and names came up that specialized in this particular field of DUI/DWI. I proceeded to call the different suggestions based on the online reviews. When I called Mr. Lederman’s office, I had a feeling my search was over. Immediately, his staff was courteous and professional but above all empathetic. I was told Mr. Lederman would call me back that same day. Within an hour, I had the “call.” That call, actually really changed my life. More than just handling the legal aspects of my case, I sensed that Mr. Lederman was about more. He was about arriving at the root cause and addressing how to resolve the matter at the core. He made me realize that I had to take ownership of the issue and to come up with a plan on how to go forward. It is this, that was key in my defense. He was then able to easily demonstrate to the justice system, that while yes, I had erred, I did enact a plan to not only change the behavior but to ensure the safety and wellbeing of others. In person, his care and demeanor were simply magnified with his quirky sense of humor. He is a very astute man and very capable in his field. He views the issue at hand and devises winning strategies. In a sense, you become a team member and he coaches you on how to enact the appropriate change. Because of his extensive expertise and experience he is well connected with the right group of people who also are able to view the situation and further the actions towards successful outcomes. I was referred to people he has worked with in the past. At first, of course, one may think, this is just a ploy to get more money out of you. It isn’t. Everything that was recommended was with and for good reasons. I faced 4 years’ loss of driving privileges at the very least. I did end up with just a 6 month suspension. After all, I did have to take responsibility for my actions. But the process helped me. His way was the right way. He is worth every penny. I’ve had to hire a lawyer in a previous similar case. I only wish I had done as much research as I did this time. Had I had Mr. Lederman in that instance, I probably wouldn’t have had this second experience. Old adage truly applies, you get what you pay for in life. Thank you Mr. Lederman, Jessica and the rest of the team. Awesome ethic!

Mr. Lederman more than fulfilled his agreement to help me in a DWI matter. He reduced my charges down to a 90 day suspension for reckless driving. The prosecutor wanted a 7 month suspension and DWI.
Mr. Lederman is very professional, knowledgeable and confident in what he does.
I would recommend him to anyone who is in trouble. And his office also offers a wide variety of other services .

Thanks to Mr. Lederman and to the reviews on Avvo for helping me choose him as my lawyer. I was facing my 2nd DUI in 2 years! I was terrified and pretty much had given up hope. Mr. Lederman was very thorough and covered every basis. His guidance, advice, professionalism, and experience helped me get a reduced sentence. Even thought the police officer that issued the ticket didn't want to reduce the violation Mr. Lederman was able to convince him otherwise. I ended up receiving a wreckless driving charge and license suspension of 90 days. He's the best at what he does and if you have a DUI he is the only option.

Mr.Lederman is by far one of the greatest lawyers I've ever met. I was in a car accident facing my 3 dwi and jail time and Mr.Lederman got them to reduce all my charges down to a reckless driving offense with a 90 day suspension. He is by far the best. I am really satisfied with his services and I would gladly recommend his services to anyone in this kind of situation. Thank you again for your great work.

I hired Mr. Lederman to represent me for a DWI, Reckless Driving, and Underage DUI charges. He worked with my parents and I to give us a great understanding of what was going on and what to expect. He was extremely thorough with the discovery and walked us through every page of the information that he received. He highlighted the important sections that would be key in making a strong case on my behalf. This is not an easy experience and is very stressful on the one being charged and his or her loved ones. He was very understanding of my parents and was very nice to my mother when she was upset or did not understand what he was talking about. In the end he was able to get the blood results thrown out, which led to the prosecutor dropping all the severe charges. While in court the judge attempted to sneak hidden charges and certain information that should have been suppressed but was not. He immediately identified this and fought back instantly winning on my behalf. Ultimately, I ended up with: loss of license for 90 days, $33 in court charges, 12 hours of alcohol counseling, and 20 day of community service. I would suggest that anyone who can afford this level of representation to do so because you do not want to end up with a DWI conviction. Mr. Lederman will do everything within his power to make sure this does not happen.

I would like to take this opportunity to comment on the professional services of Mr. Peter H. Lederman. This is the second time his services were needed and I can honestly say that Mr. Lederman is a thorough and competent professional who always had my best interest in mind – always treated me like a human being instead of a number. No call was left unanswered. I owe a debt of gratitude to him for his organizational services. He is a solid attorney who practices nothing but the best customer service methods. He is in the business of helping good people overcome bad situations. Thank you, Mr. Lederman!

Peter was great. He was calming but firm in his instructions. He was reassuring but real with the expectations. Peter's relationships with the prosecutor led to the chief of police coming down to the courthouse to discuss my case prior to going before the judge! The chief's son was the officer that got me, so this was a delicate situation to say the least. The prosecutor had the chief, whom Peter also knew well, come down to see what could be done. After Peter and he chatted some, the chief agreed to dismiss the dwi and to reduce it to wreckless driving and only a 3 month suspension. The chief had his son sign off on that and the prosecutor without any hesitation whatsoever told the judge there was not enough evidence for the dwi. Be patient, as it took 3 trips to the courthouse, and let Peter do his thing. Thanks to Peter and his secretary Jessica for saving my butt! He doesn't come cheap, but he's worth it.

Mr. Lederman has been very helpful throughout my legal ordeal. My case was more complicated that the average DUI case due to the fact that I also had a small amount of marijuana in the car, along with other lesser charges such as failure to maintain a lane and a third brake light being out. Mr. Lederman recommended that I complete counseling sessions with a certified drug and alcohol counselor whom he works closely with, and I found these meetings extremely helpful and valuable. Mr. Lederman also asked me to attend some alcoholics anonymous meetings whenever I was able to from the time that my case was first opened until it concluded.
Adding to the complicated nature of this case, I am also a healthcare professional, and having a license as a healthcare professional means significant consequences in terms of my career and my license after being convicted of a DUI and/or drug charge. Mr. Lederman was able to have my marijuana charge dropped and after challenging the results of my Alcotest for BAC reading, the BAC reading was deemed inadmissible and I received the lowest tier DUI after originally testing into the tier two level for DUI based on my initial BAC reading. My charges ended up being a tier one DUI, no criminal charges (drug charges) and some other fines that will not appear on a criminal background check.
I am extremely thankful for the results that Mr. Lederman has been able to help me achieve and I have truly learned invaluable lessons from my experience. I know that my poor judgment at the time of the incident led to extremely dangerous and irrational decisions being made and I am extremely fortunate and thankful that nothing serious happened as a result of these decisions. Not only have I jeopardized my entire career and life that I have worked so hard to achieve, but I also needlessly put my own life and the lives of others at risk for no reason at all. I have learned a great deal from this entire process and I am truly thankful to Mr. Lederman and his attentive staff for helping me throughout the process, answering questions as they arose, and for helping me salvage my career as a healthcare professional. Thank you Mr. Lederman!

Where do I start with my gratitude and sheer reverence for the excellent job Peter has done in both my DWI cases. I was facing a 3rd offense in 2009 , speeding when officer pulled me over, realized I had a few drinks, and charged me with DWI. Peter wrote an excellent PCR( Post Conviction Relief) petition, which got my 2nd offense essentially thrown out , allowing the 3rd offense to become my 2nd for sentencing purposes. This got me 2 years suspension instead of 10 and no jail time. Peter accomplished this even though the petition was outside the 5 year period , he was able to persuade the judge to hear our PCR and agree to the relief! This was no small feat and took a lawyer with the knowledge and expertise Peter possesses to accomplish that.
In 2014 , I was again in the same predicament , facing a 3rd offense after a car crash that only involved my car. I was not driving the vehicle when the officer arrived, but because I was noticeably intoxicated and the only person on the scene; the officer proceeded to arrest me and charge me with DWI. Blood was drawn to prove the intoxication and the case went to the courts. Peter filed motions to suppress the blood evidence and expertly argued the case before the superior court. He filed other motions to try to ensure all available defenses/legal arguments where presented. Through and because of Peter’s legal maneuvering , court felt they could not prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt , and dismissed the DWI ! I plead guilty to reckless driving with 30 days license suspension and court fines. I cannot express what this has done for my family, Peter has given us our future back , a fresh start. Not only did he do his job as my defense lawyer, he also took keen interest in my treatment . Peter challenged me to get help and do any and all available alcohol rehabilitation to get well and remove alcohol from my life. I am humbled by the opportunity I have been given, and I must say I could not have done it without Peter H. Lederman. He is the BEST DWI/DUI lawyer, hands down ! He knows the law, knows his way around the courts , and is a wonderful , caring human being! Peter is the perfect counter balance to the long arm of the law and justice system when it comes to DWI/DUI,; he is worth every penny and then some. He essential won two cases for me when all the chips were stacked against me. I urge anyone reading this, Peter is the real deal with a top notch staff supporting him, hire him and only him, you will not regret it. Thanks again Peter , my family will never forget what you have done for us, god bless you and yours !
