I would like to be 100% transparent. Mr. Lederman is a special person to me. My father and I hired Mr. Lederman after a freak accident in June of 2012. Wasn't my first go around with drinking and driving. Just so happened to be one of the best decisions, I've ever made. Mr. Lederman advised me both p...ersonally and professionally, on what to do and how to do it. It was one of the toughest time peroids of my life. I remember going to work (selling radio advertising), having to hit monthly goals while management inquired about my constant court status and knowing that at some point the walls would come crashing down. It was a lot to handle. Mr. Lederman (Jess, Eva) made themselves available to me whenever I needed. Throughout the hearings, Mr. Lederman would make comments and say, "I know what you're going through is difficult. I can't talk from personal experience, but keep working hard" or "You need to apply yourself like you are and keep making responsible decisions everyday... Not just because your going to court." Mr. Lederman isn't just an attorney. Mr. Lederman is a family man, who has sheer interest in wanting his clients (me) to make responsible decisions. He holds you accountable throughout the entirety of the process. Not a day goes by I don't think about how he would push me through the hardest battle of my life. After five years (5/11/2017), I called Mr. Lederman and thanked him for making me a better person. In a time of my life where I was fear ridden (before my DWI and self medicating) to make career moves and move to NYC, Mr. Lederman found a way to dig deep and make me whole. I will never forget Mr. Lederman's last words after walking out of court. Mr. Lederman put one hand on my shoulder and said, "Son, I hope you have learned how tough you are through this experience. It's not easy and nor should it be. You made an irresponsible decision and will be accountable for it. That aside, I want you to know that the only thing you lost was time. It's up to you from this point on, to determine where you go from here. You can do anything in this world if you just believe in yourself!" To this day, I'm in the process of starting a 501(c) and own a NYC start-up production business. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for teaching me how to grow both personally and professionally. You were more than just an attorney. You were a miracle man, instrumental figure, attorney, mentor and friend. For that I'm grateful!

After receiving an embarrassing DUI, I immedediatly contacted Peter for consult. I ran into some trouble, no pun intended. I was facing very serious consequences. The first thing I did, was, of course, to do on line searches based on my case. Several firms, and names came up that specialized in this particular field of DUI/DWI. I proceeded to call the different suggestions ba...sed on the online reviews. When I called Mr. Lederman’s office, I had a feeling my search was over. Immediately, his staff was courteous and professional but above all empathetic. I was told Mr. Lederman would call me back that same day. Within an hour, I had the “call.” That call, actually really changed my life. More than just handling the legal aspects of my case, I sensed that Mr. Lederman was about more. He was about arriving at the root cause and addressing how to resolve the matter at the core. He made me realize that I had to take ownership of the issue and to come up with a plan on how to go forward. It is this, that was key in my defense. He was then able to easily demonstrate to the justice system, that while yes, I had erred, I did enact a plan to not only change the behavior but to ensure the safety and wellbeing of others. In person, his care and demeanor were simply magnified with his quirky sense of humor. He is a very astute man and very capable in his field. He views the issue at hand and devises winning strategies. In a sense, you become a team member and he coaches you on how to enact the appropriate change. Because of his extensive expertise and experience he is well connected with the right group of people who also are able to view the situation and further the actions towards successful outcomes. I was referred to people he has worked with in the past. At first, of course, one may think, this is just a ploy to get more money out of you. It isn’t. Everything that was recommended was with and for good reasons. I faced 4 years’ loss of driving privileges at the very least. I did end up with just a 6 month suspension. After all, I did have to take responsibility for my actions. But the process helped me. His way was the right way. He is worth every penny. I’ve had to hire a lawyer in a previous similar case. I only wish I had done as much research as I did this time. Had I had Mr. Lederman in that instance, I probably wouldn’t have had this second experience. Mr. Lederman has been very helpful throughout my legal ordeal. My case was more complicated that the average DUI case due to the fact that I also had a small amount of marijuana in the car, along with other lesser charges such as failure to maintain a lane and a third brake light being out. Mr.... Lederman recommended that I complete counseling sessions with a certified drug and alcohol counselor whom he works closely with, and I found these meetings extremely helpful and valuable. Mr. Lederman also asked me to attend some alcoholics anonymous meetings whenever I was able to from the time that my case was first opened until it concluded. Adding to the complicated nature of this case, I am also a healthcare professional, and having a license as a healthcare professional means significant consequences in terms of my career and my license after being convicted of a DUI and/or drug charge. Mr. Lederman was able to have my marijuana charge dropped and after challenging the results of my Alcotest for BAC reading, the BAC reading was deemed inadmissible and I received the lowest tier DUI after originally testing into the tier two level for DUI based on my initial BAC reading. My charges ended up being a tier one DUI, no criminal charges (drug charges) and some other fines that will not appear on a criminal background check. I am extremely thankful for the results that Mr. Lederman has been able to help me achieve and I have truly learned invaluable lessons from my experience. I know that my poor judgment at the time of the incident led to extremely dangerous and irrational decisions being made and I am extremely fortunate and thankful that nothing serious happened as a result of these decisions. Not only have I jeopardized my entire career and life that I have worked so hard to achieve, but I also needlessly put my own life and the lives of others at risk for no reason at all. I have learned a great deal from this entire process and I am truly thankful to Mr. Lederman and his attentive staff for helping me throughout the process, answering questions as they arose, and for helping me salvage my career as a healthcare professional.
