When I first received my DWI, I was terrified, I thought I would lose my license, job, and overall, my humility. Peter as a person is very caring and honest which to me is a great trait to have in a lawyer. He without a doubt treats you as person not just another number as most attorneys do. Peter is the best dui/dwi attorney there is. In the beginning stages he is very informative as to your individual situati...on as all cases are different. After explaining to Peter what had happened he then in return gives you all the scenarios that you could be facing when it comes to the charges. Once receiving all the discovery for the case he will then be able to tell you the best case scenario and worst case scenario so that there is no surprises the day of court. ¬¬Mr Lederman has been great since the beginning. I got a DWI in New Brunswick, NJ. Mr. Lederman told me what my best and worst case scenario form day one. He treated me as if we were related, and his genuine care for the matter is indescribable. During the “discover” phase he gave me new options, ba...sed on what he saw and his experience in the matter. At court, he was able to do even better than his prediction. I blew a .16 in the Breathalyzer (double the legal limit), which should have been 7 months – a year license suspension, interlock device for one year, surcharges of $1000 per year for 3 years, and potential loss of insurance, and I ended up with a reckless driving and 45 day license suspension. My suggestion is if you want someone to tell you as is and fight for you, go with mr lederman, and you wont regret the decision.

If you've gotten a DUI in the state of NJ like I did, take it from me -- you MUST talk to Peter. Peter Lederman prides himself on knowing more than anyone else -- cops, prosecutors, other attorneys -- about the laws and technicalities surrounding DUI in NJ -- because he studies and teaches them. It... amazed me how many aspects of my arrest the cop did incorrectly, from pulling me over, to my roadsides, to the breathalyzer. Unreal. And all of these things add up to a very weak case for the prosecutor. Peter was able to reduce my DUI to a reckless driving ticket. A TICKET!!! And ultimately saved me $5k+ in fines and fees, etc. (BTW, my blew a .14). I did lose my license for a period of time, but I do not have a DUI on my record that will follow me for the rest of my life. This is HUGE. And from what I know, its extremely rare for a prosecutor to agree to this. You can roll the dice with another lawyer, or you can guarantee yourself the strongest case and best outcome with Peter.
