I am really impressed with this lawyer and how he worked so hard for me. He somehow got me through a very hard time with criminal charges that I thought would land me in jail for a long time. Before I decided to hire him he had already given me a sense of calm and advice that made me feel trust and... confidence that it would work out, and it did. He's always in communication and knowledgeable. I went from a mandatory minimum of 3 years to probation so I definitely recommend Michael Chazen if you are looking for a lawyer.

This is one superb lawyer for a criminal case. He helped me through a tough time and kept me at ease from beginning to the end of the case which was a real nightmare for me. He got me a deal to keep me out of jail when it looked like it was going to be impossible to do that. I got this lawyer through another lawyer in New Jersey for my very heavy criminal case that was being brought against me by the attorney general office in Jersey. The case finally ended the other month and I told him I was going to write this review. He said not necessary, but I am doing it anyway ...because of what he did for me. I was arrested with 7 other guys and the main target of a criminal indictment involving complicated business deals and the indictment said I did a lot of things that violated different criminal laws in this state. I did not think I was a criminal and I will say that but for this lawyer, I really could have been in a prison cell for 20 years and 10 years of no parole. That would have made me lose everything. When it was all finished after the 3rd year of the case, I got absolutely no jail except for the day I was arrested, and got the PTI diversion to divert me out of the criminal case completely. Michael is hard working, honest, always available and even gave me his home number, super smart, and a real good lawyer and advisor to have when you have a serious case and want a lawyer that will do what it takes to get the best you can. He read and knew every piece of paper they gave us in the case and that meant thousands and thousands pieces of paper. I cannot say enough good things about him. He has full integrity. I even gave the lawyer that gave me his name and number a Christmas gift to show my appreciation. My parents just got back all the bail they put up for me which was like their life savings after they sold their house and that is really great. This is a lawyer who gives lawyers a good name. A++++

Retained Mike for about a year. On numerous occasions he wouldn't return my calls for days, even weeks. This was a constant. He was also not imformative about how the case was progressing and what the prosecutor's position was as the case progressed. We felt it was best to find other counsel. Still h...ard to get an answer from him with an ongoing situation.

This lawyer got me a not guilty from a jury when I was facing 10 years state time. Mike always told me what was going on with the case, gave me the upside and the downside for more than 2 years. 3 real tense days waiting the jury and they said not guilty and it's done. knows what he's doing and wa...s worth the fee so I wrote this review.
