Straight forward, no nonsense, extremely intelligent.

I was recommended to Eric by a colleague when they heard of my employment and labor legal issue. Eric digested my version of the story, both written and backed up by over 50 large files, and then broke apart the opposition's version with me point by point. He understood the case in perfect detail.... From the first meeting, he outlined what he felt would happen based on his years in the field, supported by legal precedents. He clearly laid out what I should expect before he agreed to take on the case. Only when he was satisfied I clearly understood both the positive and negatives of taking on the case, did he take me on as a client. Meetings/emails were short and concise--I was never confused by "legalize". Eric has a way of normalizing the process to instill confidence and reduce anxiety. His descriptions of what to expect were equal to the way it actually happened. Eric explained clearly the positives and negatives of going to trial, WHICH I WANTED, and mediation. Eric highly suggested to choose mediation laying out the multiple reasons this would be the better route for me to take. Only because of my faith in his abilities did I change course and go the mediation route. Again, he explained in detail what this meant in order to ensure my reversal of decision to go to court and choose mediation was the correct decision for me. Eric liaised with the other legal team, suggested the mediator, and negotiated excellent terms for the process. The day before the mediation, Eric again explained what to expect, how to behave, dress etc to help ensure our success. The mediation lasted 6 hours. Eric took me to a private Zoom Room to give the multiple routes we could take with each counter. As the day wore on, I was wearing out. Eric had so much empathy and good humor I was able to stick it out. The result was less than I wanted to get and 1/3 more than they wanted to pay. Eric explained before we started that a mediation is truly successful if both sides are a bit disappointed. A week on, I am relieved, relaxed, and so grateful for Eric's advice through the entire process. Eric has a client for life. I highly recommend his services.
