My Wife's US Residency Visa Journey and Daniel Weiss

With three college degrees, more than forty years of shuffling paperwork for the government, and being a lapsed member of Mensa, I thought that I'd be smart enough to handle all the forms and procedures for my wife's entry and residency visa in the United States. Boy, was I wrong! Wh...ile the US government has done a reasonable job in publishing do-it-yourself guidelines on how to obtain a family member visa, for me the process was beyond my ability to manage properly and efficiently. One day I was lamenting my confusion and seeming lack of progress when a friend suggested that because I was too cheap to pay a lawyer I was risking delays and … possibly … even rejection of the application if I did not fill out the forms properly or use the precise wording that the immigration people need to see. I reluctantly agreed that I was making a mess of things and my friend suggested that I call Daniel Weiss as she had heard great things about him. She also told me that Daniel as well as his staff all are bilingual in Spanish and English. I made an appointment with Daniel Weiss and told him that my attempt to manage my wife's visa application had stalled. He told me he was confident that he could take on the case and that he would put everything in order, if I were willing to follow his step-by-step instructions as to my responsibilities. He said that my participation would remain critical. I agreed to do the tasks he assigned me. I handed him the jumbled pile of papers I had accumulated and summarized what I thought I had done thus far. Daniel Weiss is well accustomed to making sense out of immigration chaos. Knowing of my military background, he broke the big steps that I had to take down into small, very specific tasks, and taught me how to do them to the standard Immigration demands. When a step in the process was completed, he gave me instructions as to the next set of documents he would need, how to get them, assisted to get them translated, and authenticated by the proper government authorities, both in the United States and in my wife's country. I must say, also, that his office is the model of efficiency. When I would speak with any of his legal secretaries, they always knew who I was, what my case was, and if they had the answer to my question or concern they would tell me. If they didn't know the answer, they would consult with Daniel and call me back to be sure I had 100% correct information. I am happy to say that because of Daniel’s assistance, my wife was given her US entry visa and residency much quicker than I expected and I avoided a mental breakdown by trying to do it all myself. If you are planning to apply for anything from USCIS or from the National Visa Center, or have something in progress, I seriously suggest you contact Daniel Weiss for a consultation to see how much easier he can make the process for you. He could even help you to resolve your case more quickly and more favorably than if you were to do it by yourself.

Best possible immigration lawyer

Daniel Weiss guided us through the process of obtaining a “green card” for our son’s wife. Throughout this lengthy ordeal, he was unfailingly kind and professional, and responsive to every question and concern. He and his excellent staff kept us focussed and organized and were attentive to every minu...te detail of our case. He was also willing to give us his honest appraisal whenever we encountered a seeming obstacle, and gave us well-reasoned and thoughtful advice throughout (even when that advice was difficult to hear). The fact that he is a leading social activist in the struggle for marriage equality is yet another reason we so completely admire him.

I just received my Citizenship thanks to Daniel Weiss!

First let me give a round of applause to Mr. Daniel Weiss,a lawyer that ACTUALLY knows his stuff! I came across Mr. Weiss office while driving through freehold one day. I took down his information and when I went home my research quickly began. Let me tell you,I do not get impressed very easily but ...I must say I knew right away this was going to be the lawyer for me. Not only does he know his craft but he keeps in touch with you constantly,I didn't have to hunt him down to find out about anything as he was on top of it all. He is with you ever step of the way, like an angel! Let me say this, you MUST put in the work that is required of you because remember at the end of the day this is YOUR situation not anyone else,so if you are not going to follow any instructions that are given to you by Mr. Weiss or his staff then this lawyer is definitely not for you as he does not have time to waste but if you are willing to do what is asked of you then you WILL be in perfect hands. I had nothing but a positive experience with Mr. Daniel Weiss and his staff and I know anyone that uses his expertise will have a positive outcome as well. Everyone one was so friendly that I never felt like a stranger but more like a sense of family and I can really appreciate that. I will absolutely without a shadow of a doubt recommend Daniel Weiss and his staff to anyone that may need or want a lawyer that is very knowledgeable and caring in everything they do. Hat's off to the #1 Immigration lawyer there is, Mr.Daniel Weiss. May you ALWAYS be blessed!!!!!

US Naturalization

Mr. Weiss is an excellent naturalization & immigration attorney that helped me with two citizenship cases (successfully completed) and one green-card application, still in progress. Mr. Weiss clearly explains the process and expectations. Extremely responsive to telephone and email inquiries and f...ollowup. He dedicates much of his time to completing your case including attending, in person, your citizenship interview and testing meeting.

OUTSTANDING IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY AND AMAZING STAFF !!

My husband and I (a same sex couple) met with Mr. Daniel L Weiss and his immigration team for legal representation for my spouse's residency. Mr. Weiss immediately made us feel welcomed. He was confident, highly knowledgeable, professional, and focused. Both my spouse and I felt secure in his abili...ties and expertise. Mr. Weiss explained in great detail the legal process surrounding our case and kept us well informed throughout the entire process. He and his staff are extremely competent and efficient in answering our questions and concerns. Mr. Weiss gave us the confidence that we would succeed as a team. Six months later from the time we started the process - my husband has his green card. We are so fortunate and grateful that the Law Offices of Mr. Daniel L Weiss represented us. For anyone needing good sound legal advice and representation - this would be the law office to go to. Once again thank you to Mr. Weiss, Jennifer and his entire staff ! God Bless you all !

"I am an immigration attorney practicing in Washington, DC. Dan Weiss is my go-to person for questions regarding practice in the Newark area. He is one of the most helpful and collegiate attorneys in the immigration bar. More importantly, he always shares information on practices and procedures relating to the Immigration Courts, USCIS, ICE and CBP in Newark. He knows everyone and they respect him. The government folks with whom I then speak are happy to talk to me after learning that Dan referred them to me. He is an excellent colleague and lawyer."
