Biography
After over a decade as a partner in a small Family Law firm, today through my solo practice, I continue to serve as a strong advocate and steady guide for my clients, helping them navigate complex family law issues and move forward with security and peace of mind.
I focus my practice on New Jersey Family Law, including, but not limited to marital dissolution (divorce), non-dissolution matters (parties who were not married but have children together), child custody, child support and pre- and post-judgment matters.
As a Family lawyer I get to meet good people at some of the most challenging times of their lives. I enjoy helping them through those challenges and finding solutions that enable them to move forward.
I earned my law degree at Rutgers University School of Law, after getting my MBA and working corporate America for a decade. After law school, I interned and then clerked for several New Jersey Superior Court Family Judges.

Complicated Divorce
Katherine represented me in an amicable divorce involving complicated issues primarily stemming from our being "under water" with our marital home. She was excellent and compassionate throughout.

Child custody case
Outstanding and caring attorney. Ms. Richardson represented me in a custody case; I now have sole legal custody of my granddaughter. I would definitely hire Ms. Richardson again should I need to and have referred a client to her.
