Suzanne Marie Jorgensen

Finding the right assistance during a divorce can play a critical role in maintaining a civil and productive dialogue, even when it's most difficult.  Suzanne M. Jorgensen has been an attorney since 1982.  Following her own divorce, for which she used a mediator, she began mediating divorces and other family disputes in 1996. 

With a core belief that alternative approahces can foster a better long-term alternative to in-court litigation, Suzanne is a founding member and former President of the Jersey Shore Collaborative Law Group.  A leader in introducing collaborative law to the roster of approaches available to those divorcing in NJ, her practice is focused on non-adversarial family matters, including mediation, collaborative divorce, and constructive negotiation.

Suzanne is an accredited Practitioner Member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators, and is on the roster of mediators of the Administrative Office of the Courts.

A graduate of Cornell University (BA), Boston University School of Law (JD) and New York University School of Law (LLM in Taxation), Suzanne is admitted to practice in NJ, NY, CA, and MD.
