Michael Baer helped me numerous times with traffic violations (speeding). By the time I got to court, I'd usually find that he'd already negotiated a lesser offense with the prosecutor and got me off the hook. Last time he drove 3 hours to meet me at the courthouse and was able to prove the police ra...dar did not produce an accurate reading. He's an effective attorney, a true "Mensch", who gets things done and is passionate about helping his clients achieve the best outcome. I hired Michael Baer to help me sort out a number of issues pertaining to my elderly dad. He was able to sort out an issue for him pertaining to NYS Workman's Comp dispute that was going on for years. We also hired him for a few traffic tickets for my son. He was professional and kind throughout the ...entire process. I consider him my go to person when I have a legal issue. I would not hire anyone else.

I hired Mr. Baer (at the recommendation of a family friend) to defend my son on a ridiculous moving violation that included points on his license. With little or no effort on our part, Mr. Baer got the ticket reduced to a no-points offense with a smaller fine. All we had to do was send him a copy o...f the ticket and appear in Municipal Court for an hour (only 2 minutes of that hour was for our offense but there's no helping that). Michael's fee was about amount of the fine reduction. That, in conjunction with the savings on 3 year's worth of auto insurance penalties because there were no longer points involved, made his fee WELL WORTH THE MONEY he charged for his services. As frustrating as the whole situation was, Michael's light hearted demeanor made the experience as easy as going to court could possibly be. I would definitely hire Mr. Baer again (hopefully I won't need to) and I recommend him without reservation.
