We thank God for putting Mr. John F. Murano in our path and I will explain why. let me start off by saying that It is not easy to come to an understanding of some matters in life. During this occasion bankruptcy (Chapter 7) was one of those matters for my wife and I. It was so difficult that it took... us 4 years to come to understand that we had no choice, but, to do it.The most difficult thing to accept, was the fact that after diligently paying on time all of our debts (car loans, personal loans, credit cards, business loans, college) for more than 20 years and having perfect credit since you were in high school, it was all soon going to crumble once we filed for bankruptcy, and all because we came across a life or death medical emergency that caught us without medical insurance exactly when we didn't have any. Jeeshe, who would've thought? But, that is life. After paying one of three five-figure medical bills that we received. After attempting to pay off gradually the remainder of the other medical bills while paying off our credit cards, living expenses, etc. We just couldn't keep up. We worked more and harder, but, we couldn't catch up. We decided to search for an attorney. One that would be experienced in our case (Personal/Business). One we felt we could trust and feel comfortable with as we took this scary bankruptcy route. After three months of research, we came across an attorney whose initials are "R. A. F. Jr" from Little Ferry. A "Board Certified by the American Board of Certification in Consumer Bankruptcy". We thought he was the right one for us until we met the first time. We didn't feel happy with the step we were about to take into bankruptcy and Mr. R.A.F., the way he interviewed us made us feel worse and even ashamed. He tried to close us with a contract after 5 minutes of interviewing us. We left Mr. RAF’s office discouraged and feeling that most attorneys were probably the same. Because of this, we took much longer than expected. It took us one more year, many calls and after extensive research and praying, we finally came across Mr. Murano's information online and gave him a call. From the first call, we just felt right at home. We schedule a meeting, and my wife, unfortunately, was not present. Mr. Murano made me feel welcome and that he really CARED about our situation. Mr. Murano treated me with respect, took the time to listen, took the time to answer all my questions, took the time to explain our options in detail with ease. Mr. Murano explained his contract in detail and any scenarios that could be possible. I was extremely happy, felt confident and hopeful. I felt that I could finally go through with the bankruptcy. It was priceless.Our communication with him and Vicky (Paralegal) was excellent. All our doubts along the way were answered within minutes of just sending an email. Days before our appointment with the trustees, Mr. Murano answered any questions we had and gave us the instructions we needed. The day of the appointment with the trustee he was there with us. He was one of a handful of lawyers that were prepared and the ONLY lawyer on time that day as per the trustee's comments when he arrived.
