I first hired Brent to help me review my contract when I moved my practice from a regional brokerage firm to a wirehouse. I am a million dollar + producer and this was my first and only move. Brent came highly recommended from a colleague and after working with him and seeing the value he brought, I cannot believe that there are advisors who make moves between firms without using an attorney.
Brent listens, pays attention to detail, is professional, and has the knowledge and confidence needed to put my mind at ease. As soon as I mentioned the firm I was considering moving to, Brent informed me that he was very familiar with the firm's contract. I was so pleased with his work that I hired him again recently to assist me in writing a letter. I highly recommend using Brent Burns.

I hired Brent to assist me in reviewing my severance agreement and drafting language to protect me. Brent was very professional and knowledgable in this subject matter and delivered a document that was fair both to me and my firm. I would recommend anyone who had any employment matters to use his services.

I knew after my first call to Brent Burns, i may have just found the best securities litigation attorney in the business. My case was extremely complicated involving several contracts and agreements, and had many , many details. Brent was so excellent at getting to the facts, keeping the case on track , and had a sixth sense on the big picture of the my case. Brent has integrity, which is what I needed after realizing my ex-partners, and ex-employer had none. I was going up against deep corporate pockets, which included a large high priced law firm. Brent was not intiminated in the least, and quickly gained respect from opposing counsel as well as FINRA because of his extensive knowledge of the securities industry, contracts, as well as , his professionalism. I would recommend Brent Burns to anyone who has been wronged and needs the best attorney to have a fighting chance at justice.

I had an employment dispute regarding a "non-compete" clause after leaving my Wall Street firm, and while several attorneys with whom I corresponded before meeting Brent showed little interest in taking the case, Brent hopped on it right away and did a terrific job negotiating a settlement for me from what was arguably a tough position. He handled the case "on the clock" (i.e., not on a contingency basis) and I was extremely pleased with his fairness in "hours billed;" unfortunately, lawyers in general have a reputation for padding this figure but with Brent I can unequivocally say that, if anything, he leaned very much towards the conservative side with his billing hours. I subsequently recommended him to a friend who needed an attorney for a different sort of case, and would be happy to heartily recommend him again in the future.
