I had a rather straightforward motion and the judge had already ruled favorably on the emergency order. Matt did not use any of the evidence I gave him and he became very passive aggressive when I asked him why. He said all that evidence would be used at the plenary hearing. After losing the motion, Matt took off on a vacation, leaving my new counselors scrambling to comply with the 5 day rule without a transcript or his help. When he returned from his trip, I asked him to return my retainer, and he refused.
