I was referred to Jennifer for a cease and desist situation I was experiencing with a neighbor. I came across Ms Mendelsohn completely by accident. Having multiple(3+) traffic matters hindering, I was directed to her by the Fair Lawn Chamber. At first I was a little hesitent seeing as my prior bad experiences with lawyers, but she made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Not only was she on top of e...ach and every court administrator & prosecutor, she was also extremely detail oriented in coming across multiple issues with discoveries from the various municipalities. Prior to hiring Ms Mendelsohn, I was facing 12+ points in violations... After all was said and done, I was able to walk away with 0 points from all courts, and simply left with fines on payment plans, which is more than perfect! You've all heard "it is the burden of the state to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt," Well, Ms Mendelsohn really puts the state to work... After requested 2 certified abstracts and addt'l supporting docs, she was able to have some serious charges (traffic) dismissed after clearly pointing out that the state in fact never informed me of said offenses. No only was she very knowledgeable, but she was always ON TOP OF EVERYTHING! I would get an email almost daily with any updates, as well texts and voicemails, inlcuding reminders for court, which for me was extremely helpful! I can't continue to thank you enough Jen! My son had some traffic violations, that due to his less than stellar record, could have caused a serious problem with his license as well as his occupation. He faced potentially losing his license on points alone, which could have cost him his job. Calling Jennifer was the smartest thing I could... have done. She is very well rounded regarding traffic laws, and managed to plead the tickets down to fines that were manageable, as well as avoiding points on my son's license. She juggled matters in two towns simultaneously for the best outcome. Her fees are reasonable, her attitude is wonderful. She explains everything in terms you can understand.
