Expert in traffic matters
Jennifer is very knowledgable in traffic matters. She was able to get a seven point speeding and careless driving charge down to no points and a fine. I fully recommend her services.

Got the job done, with some caveats
Everyone makes mistakes. And we're all human. With that being said, Jennifer made one too many mistakes before we actually made it to the courtroom. First, she misplaced my original check that I mailed to her, and I had to send her another one. No big deal, as that was a simple request. But then, she...
Ray: Thank you for taking the time to comment on my services. I certainly welcome your feedback. Just for clarification, however, I NEVER lost your check. If you recall, I accidentally spilled water on the check and it smeared so I couldn't cash it. In terms of what happened on the initial court date, I regret that you had to wait 1.5 hours and I again sincerely apologize for the confusion. I did immediately rectify the situation as soon as I realized what had occurred (a scheduling mistake with my calendar). Anyway, glad you are grateful that I was able to get you a positive plea that day to resolve your matter and keep your driving record clear:) As you said, hopefully you will not require my services in the future! Drive safely and have a good summer!

If only we knew
I hired Attorney Mendelsohn in August 2020 due to my 19 year old son having been cited for speeding in NJ 30 plus miles over the limit in NJ and our being from MA. I did my due diligence and spoke with her for at least 30 minutes to go over the case and then paid her 'flat fee' of $500. During the ...
I am sorry that you were disappointed by the outcome of your son’s case. The outcome was based on the strictures placed upon me by the Judge himself, due to the individual and particular details of your son’s infractions and could not have been otherwise resolved. Given that I am bound by attorney-client privilege, I cannot address the specifics of the case in this public forum. However, I did want to respond here, in addition to our previous email correspondence. I represented your son zealously, as I do every client. In each of the 3 court ordered appearances, I advocated vociferously on your son’s behalf, as I do for EVERY client. Moreover, I respectfully and expertly advised and counseled you and your son, as I do for every client. At every step along the way throughout the duration of our working relationship, I communicated my approach and updated you regarding what I planned to do. I strategically timed the filing of my motion to dismiss as per my 18 years of experience. Everything I did for your son, as with every case I take on, was done in an attempt to secure the best possible outcome for your family. All attorneys are subject to the court’s scheduling, and the multiple rescheduling and postponements of this case were per the Court’s orders. It did stretch out over a longer period of time than either of us might have preferred, but that was beyond our influence. Every attorney is constrained by the power the Judge has in their ultimate decision. We are professionals, and make our professional recommendation and request, but we are restricted and limited by the confines of the courts, the prosecutor’s plea deal, and ultimately the Judge’s verdict. Some courts and some Judges are more lenient, some are stricter. Despite every legal maneuver I performed, despite my skillful advocacy and representation, the Judge in your son’s case ruled against us and imposed what he felt was fair punishment for your son’s high speed. This particular Judge was not inclined to consider the various mitigating factors that I posed to him on your son’s behalf when making his determination as to sentencing. On the contrary, he was quite adamant that due to the factual circumstances of your son’s case, this was the only appropriate consequence in his Court. For clarification purposes, please be advised that no attorney controls, benefits from, nor receives the court fees and fines assessed by the Judge. I requested the lowest possible fines, and the Judge decided the exact amount he felt was appropriate. There is a range for the fine assessed and the Judge has the power to decide the appropriate fine based on that range. I always endeavor to meet and/or exceed my clients’ expectations. I honor and value my work, my clients, and the trust my clients place in me. I recognize your frustration with the outcome of the case, and hope that you can separate that from the hard work and efforts I actually performed on behalf of your son. I encourage you to contact me directly with any further questions you might have.
