Joseph Donohue does not fight for his clients. He did not take my case serious from the very beginning. It was very hard to get in contact with him. I had to call multiple times, multiple days. I had to leave voicemails and text and wait weeks for a reply. While in court he didn’t speak even while th...e other attorney on the line was doing his job very well. At some point I had to unmute my computer and speak for myself. I called him afterwards to express I feel he did not fight for me. First and only thing he said to me was “if you don’t like how I do things feel free to get a new attorney”. He made me feel small. Next time we spoke he told me “the father will eventually get what he wants”. So it showed me he had no hope from the beginning and didn’t intend on even trying. He jeopardized my case. He never apologized. He continued to call to explain himself while never letting me speak and yelling at me and over me. This is the most unprofessional attorney I’ve ever had to deal with. Wouldn’t recommend.

Mr. Donahue was very conscientious and worked extremely hard to reach the goals we set out to achieve. He always made sure to return calls and make himself available. He has a very good grasp of the law and explained it to me in great detail. He was very straight and upfront about everything- he did ...not sugar coat anything and he made sure that I knew exactly what I was getting into. He succeeded in achieving the desired outcome for my case and he was always polite and respectful- to me, the judge, and the opposing party. He paid great attention to detail and nothing slid by him when we were creating an important document. I am forever grateful to him for all he did for me and my family!

Joe Donahue represented my son recently on some serious charges. When we first met with Mr. Donahue, we had already retained another attorney and the court proceedings had already began. I was basically told by our current attorney that there wasn’t much more he could do other than to wait and see if... his case was going to go before the grand jury, which after doing my own research, I realized this is not where we should be headed because more than likely he would have been indicted. As a mother, I was devestated, angry, and disgusted! I knew it was time to seek counsel elsewhere. Mr. Donahue came highly recommeded by another great attorney that wasn't able to take his case. From the initial meeting with him, myself and my son felt comfortable and relaxed with him as an attorney and as a person! He asked in depth questions and answered any and all questions we had. By the time we left that first meeting, I retained Mr. Donahue and for the first time since this nightmare began, felt a slight sigh of relief and had a some what more positive outlook. In my opinion, he went above and beyond for my son. He kept me abreast of every step of the way and if I didn’t understand something, he always took the time to explain it to me thoroughly. If there was something he didn’t like about what was going on from the prosecution side, he had no problem challenging it. I am happy to say that he got my son a better deal than we thought possible. Joe Donahue is not only an amazing attorney, he is also an amazing person and I am grateful that we were fortunate enough to have him represent us during this difficult time in our lives! We will be seeing him again soon to have his charges expunged.
