I hired Patricia because she said all the right things at the outset: that she was child-centered, mindful of legal costs, and focused on protecting both my child and my financial future. That approach was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, once my case was underway, my experience did not... align with those promises. Communication was a persistent issue. Emails often went unanswered for days, including time-sensitive requests for updates and legal guidance. Her paralegal was similarly unresponsive. When I did manage to schedule a call, it sometimes took days just to get on the phone. More concerning was that work she said would be done—specifically, sending a formal letter to opposing counsel—was never completed. Instead, she later explained that she had been having phone conversations with opposing counsel during the same period when my emails were going unanswered. Those verbal communications were never documented. This lack of a written record has since been exploited by opposing counsel, even after I retained new representation, because there is no clear paper trail of what was discussed or agreed to. As the case became increasingly high-conflict, I also felt her legal advice did not adequately account for the broader strategy or the other party’s escalating and aggressive positioning. Rather than pushing back on an unorthodox and pressure-driven process, her approach felt reactive and overly accommodating, leaving us responding to the other side instead of setting appropriate boundaries. When I began searching for new legal representation, I asked for recommendations in local Facebook community groups. Three separate individuals reached out to me directly to share that they had experienced similar issues with lack of communication while working with Patricia. Hearing this independently from multiple people confirmed for me that what I experienced was not an isolated incident, but part of a broader pattern. Ultimately, I made the difficult decision to terminate our attorney-client relationship. In hindsight, I believe Patricia may be a reasonable fit for cases that are truly straightforward and amicable, where both parties are cooperative and conflict remains low. However, in situations involving escalating conflict, power imbalances, or the need for clear documentation and strategic foresight, this was not the right fit for me.

Trish was recommended by a friend and I’m relieved to say it was good advice to go with her. She listened and gave me choices so I knew the upsides and downsides.I felt comfortable with her all along. She guided me and I know I left with the best outcome I could have ever got. I recommend her highly....

Trish made a hard experience tolerable. She was informative and straight forward. She explained the process, what I should and shouldn’t do during the process, and got me through with results better then I ever expected. She kept me calm while she dealt with the nastiness that divorce brings with it.... Couldn’t ask for a better person to have in your corner during a very hard time!!
