As a parent whose child had been abducted away to a foreign land half way across the globe, I had a very thin support system here in the US with no knowledge whatsoever around the complexities involved around international parental abduction.As a victim of parental abduction, I had to live with the h...arsh reality of being estranged from my son , unaware of his well being and basically having no access to him.
