I initially met Tom (Tamer) through my friend who owns an autobody shop when a brand new car we just bought was severely damaged by another driver. We successfully settled for diminished value (i.e. car will be worth less when I trade it in- I lost value in an asset I owned. The car was so new when... it was hit it created a significant enough "diminished value" to make a case). I was so impressed with Tom's work and communication on what was arguably a relatively small case, that a couple of years later I entrusted him to review and negotiate an employment separation package, something of much importance to me. I would recommend Tom for both relatively smaller things and very large/important ones where you want the best on your side. I know he does a variety of legal work for businesses as well (I only needed to use him for personal items)- he is clearly very well rounded and a very sharp lawyer. I was really nervous as I had never been in the position of or even thought of suing someone before. I had been in a terrible car accident and all of the sudden I was faced with reality. I was referred to Tom by the repair shop that fixed my car after my son was hit. I had a diminished value claim in the past for a different car (hit while parked) and worked through that one on my own. NJM refuses to pay diminished value claims without a knock down drag out fight. Tom took my case an...d worked through trying to settle without going to court. In the end he had to file a motion and we ended up in court on March 2015. Tom successfully negotiated an acceptable settlement for me which included a private session in the judges chambers with the attorney for NJM. In the end he beat them and I walked away a very satisfied customer.
