Awesome Family Law Attorney!!!!

* If you looking for an attorney to tell you what you want to hear & when you want to hear it, I suggest you move on to the next review since Sal Simeone’s not that type of a lawyer. Although, if your searching for a truly Great ethical lawyer, with a solid reputation who’s respected in the courts... while getting the job done for you and your children, Sal Simeone is your man!! With close to 30 years experience Sal has dealt with all aspect of family law and I’m extremely thankful for him & his team. I was recommended to Sal in 2016 from a reputable Morris county lawyer who knew my divorce would be high conflict. I was told Sal Simone would be the best for what was ahead in my case. I’m grateful that I took that advise because after 4 false TRO’s, several motions and a trial for a final TRO that was dismissed. Sal and his team were always on their “A” game all the time no matter what was taking place. No matter how my emotions escalated based on so many false allegations and my concerns for the children. Sal and Matt always kept me focused, had a plan in place along with making me realize that the truth would come out in the end, which it eventually did. With all the false TRO’s, many crazy allegations and much more, Sal was by my side for it all, while still being the best advocate for the children. Through everything my children have been living with me full-time since 11/2017 and still are today. So if you’re looking for someone who will put your best interest first along with someone you can call SEVEN DAYS a week from 8am-11pm for those crazy weekends, Sal is your lawyer period! It’s great to know when things get a little nutty which they will, your always able to speak with Sal for that quick advice so you not in the wrong. Based on everything that my children and I went through, I considered that accessibility to Sal at all times to be priceless for sure. When you deal directly with Sal there’s no leaving messages in the morning while hoping he gets back to you before 5pm. Sal gets back to you quick no matter what day or time period. Besides all the great points I’ve already made just realize that Sal truly shines even much more in the courtroom. No matter if it’s a simple motion or days of a trial, Sal is always prepared to do whatever it takes for the children and his client best interest. I’ve known Sal Simeone since 2016 and we still talk today as he’s always checking on the kids to see how things are going. I consider Sal a very good friend and great divorce attorney. I have and always will continue to recommend Sal and his team to anyone I hear of going down that rough road of divorce. Best of luck and just know you’ll come out the other side. Highly Recommend

I retained Sal Simeone to handle my post divorce alimony matter. He was also my attorney during my divorce eight years ago. Sal is a very experienced and knowledgeable attorney with excellent interpersonal skills. He guided me through a very stressful and unpleasant time and obtained the best settlem...ent for me given the current situation. Sal knew that I did not want to litigate this matter, so he did everything possible to settle this case for me, and he succeeded in doing so. Sal is a professional, honest and ethical attorney. He is a strong no-nonsense attorney, but he is also very kind and compassionate. He was sensitive to my emotional state during this difficult time; he counseled me and helped me to stay the course. I felt that not only did he want to obtain the best settlement for me, he was also concerned about my well-being. Sal always followed up with me in a timely manner. He even reached out to me after the case was settled to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome and to reassure me that I made the right decision. I highly recommend working with Sal Simeone.

An Indefatigable Fighter

I was 1 year into a contentious divorce that was not going anywhere. A friend of a friend recommended Sal highly to me. I switched lawyers and it was an invaluable blessing. Sal is a fighter, and someone who can guide you through the often discouraging and seemingly endless NJ divorce/custody proc...ess. He was tireless in defending my interests, and never backed down from vigorously advocating for me and my children (and more than once gave me a needed pep talk so I would stay the course). Our adversary was profoundly unethical and deeply troubled (with equally unethical lawyers), threatening us at every turn, and Sal was firm and resolute in guiding me through the process. Notably, we won our desired outcome. He is also sober and will be honest with you about your odds/options at every step of the process. My process was multi-year and included just about every step a divorce process with children can include, and Sal was on top of it every step of the way. Lastly and importantly, Sal is well known and well respected (and feared?) by other lawyers, mediators, evaluators, counselors and judges, which was made abundantly clear as the process unfolded. This matters. Most lawyers in Morris County would rather settle than face Sal in trial, and this will further help any client who retains him. He also has excellent associates who work with him (I highly recommend Michelle Wortmann). Could not recommend him and his associates high enough.

Look no further

At one of the worst times of my life i was Blessed enough to be referred to Sal Simeone. I was left a note on a Friday night that my husband of 27 yrs was leaving, I didn’t know what to do,I was in disbelief and shock and couldn’t think straight. My sister put a call into Mr Simeone on Saturday after...noon and he kindly agreed to meet with me on Sunday morning, yes Sunday. I was scared and vulnerable, he was professional, kind and so very compassionate. He listened thru my tears, giving me time to take as many breaks as i needed. He spent as much time as I wanted telling me, “today I am here just to inform you and protect you” and never charged me for that session. From that moment on he made me feel like i was his family, even giving me his private cell number so i could reach him day or night. He is very honest and has integrity. He told me from the start he had an associate who i could use to do some of the footwork to save money. He would oversee all work and at any point if i wanted he would take over completely, the decision was mine to make. He guided me every step of the way and, often stopped me from making poor decisions that he knew would impact the rest of my life. I was still thinking with my heart wanting to be liked and because of that was willing to compromise too much. My strong advocate Sal would listen and then respond, “I cant let you do that.” Sal used his experience and expertise in family law to be sure I was receiving a fair and equitable settlement and not being taken advantage of. He returned calls immediately, drafted strong worded responses and, was a force to be reckoned with in our mediation and courthouse sessions, always commanding the negotiations. Mine was not an easy divorce at all and I am thankful Sal knew the law the way he did and, was confident, assertive and never backed down. I must also stress his interpersonal and mediation skills. At one court mandated meeting my husband became verbally abusive. Sal stepped in, addressed him respectfully regarding the unnecessary language which, resulted in an apology and, the ability to move forward in a productive meeting. He is in a league all his own and if you are looking for a strong, confident attorney with years of experience, one who is well versed in the law and, has the respect of many judges then his is the voice you need. You cant afford not to become part of his family and when all was said and done, he still followed up with phone calls to make sure i was okay. Need I say more to the character of this wonderful attorney and compassionate human being. I am forever grateful to him for being my voice when mine wasn’t being heard. I highly recommend him to anyone facing this difficult time, he will get you the outcome you need. And it will all be accomplished with patience, compassion, understanding of your unique situation and genuine concern for you as a person, not just a client.
