My parents hired Robyne to assist with making their will. Around the same time, I had had a job offer pulled from under me because it was illegally make known to the company that I had a disability. The company has deemed me not fit to work there, even though I had letters of confirmation from my doc...tors confirming I was completely capable of the position offered. My parents mentioned it to Robyne, who was deeply disturbed that this has happened to me, and offered to look into the incident to see if there was means to sue the company. I provided her the evidence of discrimination (mostly emails), and she decided there may in fact be a case to sue because I had been discriminated against, but she wasn't sure what the outcome world be, or if anything would come of it. So she took my case even though it may not have been a very strong case because she felt I had been wronged and justice needed to be served. Later, she even requested I open a case with the EEOC just in case my case was dismissed. This truly shows her character as a lawyer who cares about her clients and works for her client to see justice, even if seeing justice in the end is questionable...at least she tried. In the next coming months, we caught up on the case periodically via email and phone. Whenever I has a question, she was quick to reply to me and knowledgeable on my case and its progress. She was also honest with me and real about which way the case was leaning. Eventually, the case was settled for an amount that I was satisfied with, only because Robyne believed I has been wronged through the whole process and did not quit to make sure I was accommodated for lost wages as well as compensation for discrimination. She did all she could in the context of my case, and for that I thank her tremendously. Robyne is great. She was easy to work with, kind, empathetic, and honest. I could not have been represented better and I would recommend her to anyone.

I represented the seller in a residential real estate matter involving a title defect which required me to hold funds in escrow after closing pending clearing of title. The escrow funds were subsequently released by me to the seller in good faith. Nonetheless, the title defect had never been cleare...d and several years later it again surfaced in connection with a subsequent planned sale of the property. The result was a lawsuit against me and my former client, as well as an ethics claim being filed against me for malpractice and misappropriation of the escrow funds. Robyne handled the matter very effectively resulting in an equitable resolution, including the ethics claim against me being dropped. She is technically competent, very responsive, detail oriented and extremely well organized.
