After learning that I would require dual foot surgery that would require an elongated recovery period in France, my wife and I decided to apply for a long-stay visa. We had always wanted to spend an extended time in France and this seemed like a prime opportunity. However, we found the information... at the Consulate and on the Internet to be somewhat ambiguous considering our special needs. We decided to consult an expert. From the beginning, Mr. Wise and his team were extremely informative and timely. We hired them to guide us through the application process. After familiarizing themselves with our situation, they provided us a succinct checklist of all of the materials we would need to gather for the submission of our application. Make no mistake, the documentation requirements are complicated and at each step of the way, Mr. Wise reviewed our materials and advised us about their appropriateness. At the conclusion of the process, which took about three months, Mr. Wise and staff sent us the complete documentation packet that we were to present to the French Consulate in San Francisco. On that day, when we handed over the materials, the visa specialist remarked, “My, you are very well organized.” The application process went very smoothly - everything the Consulate wanted was in the packet. Seven days later we had our long-stay visa. We highly recommend Mr. Wise and his team. They were always responsive, took time to explain the specifics of what was required, and had excellent follow-through. I will not hesitate to consult with them again in the future!
