Ann Succi Ordway

We hired Ann in June 2014 for our divorce mediation. She claims draft settlement agreements were completed in July 2015 yet she never provided them. She claims she hand mailed them to the post office twice but neither set ever showed up, and she also claims she hired a private courier who convenien...tly wouldn't return her calls after the agreements weren't delivered. She apparently had a family emergency in September 2015 and moved to Tennessee and was stalling over the draft agreements for a couple months. She ultimately said she wasn't comfortable giving us the draft agreements since she claims we were in disagreement yet how can we disagree over something we don't know? That was the whole point of putting together the draft agreements. At that point I requested a refund and I have been trying to get the refund since probably Thanksgiving 2015. She claims she mailed a check to me four weeks ago and yet again the mail was never received. I have never had issues getting mail deliveries in the past. Now I am waiting for her to issue a new check.

DO NOT USE. Ms. Ordway appears very friendly and jovial and while I was encouraged initially, she is NOT EFFECTIVE. Not only is her schedule inconsistent which causes problems for children but her rates are also high compared to others, and *she does not exercise good judgement relative to the child...ren's physical and emotional safety.* She has supervised my children on their visits with my almost divorced ex-wife who has been hospitalized over ten times in six different institutions during the last 18 months...Ms. Ordway actually allowed a visit to take place without any medical verification while knowing that right *after* the visit, the children's mother was to be admitted into the hospital later that evening! Their mother was actually admitted for Suicidal and Homicidal Ideation! Ann also expresses concern in certain situations re: her own ability to handle three children physically should one run away and needed to bring her husband on a visit once. Finally, she doesn't redirect "Adult" topics in conversation -- my daughter expresses frustration in therapy that Ms. Ordway participates with their mother's complaining about money and the divorce often and that she talks about herself and her 9 children way too much. Bottom line is that my experience is that: Ms. Ordway is not effective, she draws children into drama vs. shields them from it, blurs the lines in her role based on background (lawyer-supervisor-educator?), and attempts to solicit more business from you (suggests expanded roles, sub-contracting) --- and that it is worth seeking services elsewhere as there are several, more effective alternatives.
