John was recommended to to us by our realtor and we couldn't be more grateful. We were 1st time home buyers entering the biggest investment of our life. John made it so much easier to navigate with quick responses to all our questions and concerns. He was not dismissive of us but we felt represented ...us in the best possible way. He tried his best to keep on target and when others were lacking he was not afraid to step up and ask on our behalf what the problem was. Having his team of great people helped us get our home just in time for Christmas. He works hard each time he had to write up our contract in our case 3xs but never faltered...he fought hard for us up until the end and we will forever be grateful! John helped my wife and I through the stressful process of buying a home in Montclair during COVID. With seemingly everyone looking to purchase a home in the area these days, timing was incredibly tight and deadlines were required on short notice. Through it all, John took the time to explain the ent...ire process to us as well as the implications of the various decisions that we needed to quickly make. He was always fast to respond and follow up when needed. When we had an issue come up during the inspection that needed to be addressed, John wrote an amazingly comprehensive and convincing letter that helped us get it taken care of. Aside from being incredibly knowledgeable, he’s an all-around great guy who was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend John and would definitely work with him again in the future.

John is an amazing lawyer:). This was my first time purchasing a house with a quick closing turnaround aaannnnddd with some major hard stops and issues with the seller’s attorney. John was calm, cool and collected throughout the whole process, however, pushed appropriately when there were issues on ...the seller’s side. He had my back and best interests throughout the entire process and put up with my frantic/crazy/nervous messages back and forth!!! He’s the best, I got very luck with him and he’ll be my go-to in the future:)

During this fast-moving real estate period of high-demand from COVID-19 related NYC defections, we wanted to get "under contract" as soon as possible once we learned we were the highest bidder on a house. John wrote up a contract, went back and forth with me several times re: questions via email, and... then had the contract out the next morning. We appreciated this. He also followed up diligently regarding a surveyor report that ended up showing that our property was slightly larger than we anticipated (a nice bonus). In the inspection and contrast negotiation periods, he advocated very well for us.
