Laurie A. Hauptman

For my needs I find Laurie to be caring and very knowledgeable about elder law and trusts. She surrounds herself with a firm and staff that is highly capable and readily available to screen my questions and pass them on in a timely manner to the person who can answer them. They are all patient in mak...ing sure I understand what they are telling me. I find it easy to trust the firm completely, and have even recommended they be used by my own son's family.

I just finished my will and special needs trust with Laurie. I was completely overwhelmed. Laurie and her partner, Brian walked me through every aspect. They took the time to explain everything in a clear way that did not get lost is legalese. Most importantly, there was a mix up with a previous lawy...er regarding my daughter's co-guardianship. Laurie cleaned everything up. This took a huge stress off my shoulders. Those of us that have a family member with intellectual and developmental disabilities have so much to deal with every day. Our loved one's health and wellbeing always must come first which means sometimes the details of trusts and guardianship get pushed back. Working with Laurie made getting all of this in order so someday when my daughter takes over it will be seamless. I recommend Laurie without hesitation.

Working with Laurie was a wonderful, stress free experience for my husband and I. We needed to update our wills and estate planning documents and she walked us through the process...taking the time explain and make sure we understood all the legal jargon and processes. As will most legal documents, ...there was a lot we were not sure about and Laurie was fantastic in explaining until they were clear. After only a few meetings, we were able to review the documents and have them processed. We left with confidence that all was in order as we left for a trip out of the country the next day.

My parents moved from out of state to an assisted living residence in NJ. Laurie handled all their Wills, POAs, and trusts in a timely and stress free manner. She is extremely professional, and she and her staff are always available to answer questions. I am currently working with Laurie to update al...l my own family's estate planning.
