Poorly Handled and Obscenely Expensive

My lawyer did a very poor job of advising me as to the best way to proceed, my various legal rights and had a poor bedside manner as well. This firm is not cheap with partners billing about $400.00 per hour. It should be noted that most of the work by this firm was my lawyer sending angry letter...s to the other parties' attorney which I suppose was great for the lawyers, but served no true goal. One round of angry letters was about scheduling and I had already told my lawyer that the days in question were approved by my employer. Well, why let that get in the way of another round of angry letters which I suppose is easy work for this type of lawyer. The two lawyers send long winded letters arguing about days that I could already be off. The partner made of point of telling me that he would checkin on my case, however he was sure to note that he did not bill me for this which of course was not true. Handling CIS or getting medical records were a disaster with these guys. Finally, to add insult to injury, when I was unable to pay their bill, of course they filed a claim against me. These are not the type pf people you want in your tent when you are going through a crises. Stay away from this firm.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
