I had never consulted or worked with a lawyer in my life, nor had I ever had any intention to. Unfortunately life doesn't go the way you plan, and upon a referral to Raphaelson and Levine. Given my past, having been suggested I might have made a good lawyer, I was not looking forward to the experie...nce. Working with Jared changed my mind on that quickly. I was injured in a way that I couldn't do much for myself, Jared and his team went about collecting and dealing with all matters from insurance agencies, bill collectors, multiple bureaucracies, and who knows how many layers of red tape associated with that, and gave me the peace of mind that while I was in good hands. Several times there were things I had let slip, or misunderstood, or didn't know what I needed to do or if anything. There were times when some of my issues exceeded his speciality/area of practice, and instead of saying I'd have to go find someone else to get those answers, or making up answers he did the leg work and got the answers for me so I didn't have to worry. He and his team were able to get information that even the the defendants were having difficulties in obtaining or didn't even know existed from their own departments. Throughout the entire process he was an advocate for me, my rights, and my issues, even when I felt like I was up a creek without a paddle. He and team communicated with me through a long litigation process due to said beauracrices over the course of 2 years, and never felt like I didn't know what was going on the steps ahead of me during such. Throughout all of it, he remained aware of my case, the facts of it, where it was, and remained cool, calm, and collected, and ensured I was prepared for all of it. As a person who has anxiety issues I don't make it easy, and Jared took it all in stride, never letting me see the frustrations of the case I could only imagine it would be causing him. In the end everyone likes results, and I feel due to Jared's knowledge of the law, charismatic and persuasive personality, preparation and determination to do right by his clients a settlement was reached. Due to his preperation, knowledge, and presentation of the case he presented and the way he presented, I believe the defendants were eager to settle as information suggested the possibility of another 6 months to a year of litigation which they chose to avoid and obtain a strong financial outcome for me and my family I don't know many lawyers but if I needed someone to fight for me when I couldn't or didn't know how, I'd go back to Jared again, and will be referring any friends if they need similar assistance to do the same.
