I wish there were 100 stars because that is what this man deserves. I highly recommend Herbert Raymond as an attorney for bankruptcy. He was a life savor to my deplorable debt situation. Before going to him, I consulted with 4 different attorneys who told me it would be impossible to file Chapter ...7 due to my level of income. Guess what, he successfully filed chapter 7 for me and I already received my discharge. He made it happen because he is truly an expert in this field. His knowledge about the bankruptcy law was outstanding. He was caring, compassionate and eager to help me in my situation. What I love the most about him is he is approachable and responsive. He returned every call promptly, he answered every email promptly, even when I emailed him at 11:00pm at night. His legal service was comprehensive. He went above and beyond to protect me from being devoured by the legal system. He kept me informed and made me feel like an important client. You can not go wrong with him. I searched for a Bankruptcy Attorney near my home and came across this reviews. Like everything in life you can review and go by what other people say or experience it yourself. I called his office and was able to reach Mr Herbert Raymond. I had a phone conversation that lasted over 40 minutes wit...h him explaining my economic situation after my divorce and all the problems that I was left with. I am 72 year old woman with not much income and was delighted by Mr.Raymond's compassion and patience. All my life i have worked very hard to make ends meet however I'm at a point that I am no longer able to do so. I met Mr.Raymond the very next day, I was very worried about all the threats and phone calls that I was receiving and after speaking with him he has calmed my worries and set my mind at ease. I'm very grateful to have hired Mr.Raymond as my attorney, he was very resourceful and caring with my problems. I don't know if this will help out anyone out-there, but if you are loosing sleep and stressing out like I was over my debt I would highly recommend this attorney to you. I'm so glad that he filed my chapter 13 for me.....

I called Mr. Raymond to see if he could represent me in my pending bankruptcy case. After I gave him a summary of my situation over the phone he said he was willing to help and told me to make an appointment for a consultation. But during the 30 minute consultation (which I paid toll fees and rush...ed through traffic for), he was extremely rude and presumptuous. He constantly interrupted me and didn't answer any of my questions. He spent more than enough time explaining his opinion on an issue I didn't even bring up, and told me that my case was "a phenomenal deal" that I was lucky to have, even though I clearly explained to him that the monthly bankruptcy payments were breaking my back. I did not make an appointment to listen to a man ignorant of my specific situation look at court papers and tell me I was lucky. When I asked him for the papers he had printed (documents with private information from the court docket, which he would not have been able to access, had I not provided him with my case number), he grabbed them up and told me that they were his for his own records, said that "he had had enough", and motioned me to the door. When I continued to ask for the documents (I even offered to pay the cost for printing) he called security. I walked in the office at 2 PM, held a 30 minute consultation, and spent 50 minutes trying to get the papers, which held my very personal information, but were somehow his. In the end, I had to leave without them. He was terribly unprofessional, unkind, and unhelpful, and I'm glad I had a consultation with him before deciding to hire him
