Richard helped me with both a matrimonial and a civil matter. He was extremely patient with all of my questions and always responded to my phone calls and emails within a day. He worked to make me feel comfortable and helped me understand the complex legal details so that I was able to make informed... decisions. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I hired this Attorney for a traffic matter. I had to go to court and needed an attorney. He was great!! i left with no points and a minimal fee to the court. He advised me well and was always available for any questions of concerns i might have had. Any time i was not able to reach him he was in cour...t, but the later returned my call when available. I would really recommend him. Unlike the previous person, I dont know how he is with divorce, but I know that for everything else he is great.

I made the mistake of retaining Mr. Panitch for my divorce without having check references or referrals such as Avvo - I paid the price. He is totally non-responsive - when you call you get his answering machine not a person and then he calls back when he feels like it - sometimes 3 days later, and o...n one occasion almost 2 weeks later (said he was on a cruise) but didn't inform me or advise who to contact in his absence. Meanwhile, I was left without representation and lost my kid temporarily because of no access to the paperwork he claimed to have filed. I could go on but what is the point. After firing him I found that there are much better attorneys who charge less for better service in the area. Please don't make the mistake I made and do your homework and get references. That you are here is a good sign you are doing so... just wish I would have before losing so much hard earned money to this attorney.
