We hired her for executing short-sale. We went thru hell working with her. She was not accessible, full of excuses, dealt with many issues. Hired another lawyer, our short sale executed within couple months. Attorney plays great role and this is not the attorney you want to hire. We were extremely re...sponsive, there was no fault on our end, just in case if you read any feedback on her end.

we were in contract to buy a house in bloomingdale, nj. the inspection felt trough and we would continue with the purchase. the $10k deposit we lost, stayed in the sellers trust account for over 2 yrs, until we got letter from sellers attorney to release the money. Sommer wouldn't represent us and we... had to go with another lawyer to act in our favor. I would not recommend her practice. Don't know if she was hiding or what but it was very hard to get in touch with her.

Ms. Sommer has handled 4 closings for me. She is the best real estate lawyer in Essex County. She is knowledgeable, communicates with her clients , gives great quality work product and gets the "deal" done, She is also great with distressed properties and short sales -- a complex area of expertise. ...I would recommend Ms. Sommer to all -- 5 stars!!......

Ms. Sommer handled a very complicated short sale transaction for me. My lender was shorted by over $400,000.00 and Ms. Sommer got me a waiver of my deficiency and I did not have to contribute any money to the lender. It was like a huge burden taken off of me. Ms. Sommer is known as a fantastic short... sale attorney and I couldn't agree more.
