Howard Ross Graber

Howard R. Graber is the founder of the Law Offices of Howard R. Graber, located in Stamford, Connecticut. Focusing his practice exclusively on family law, he represents clients throughout Fairfield County in divorce (and post divorce) matters such as child custody disputes, child support and alimony arrangements, division of assets and other complex financial issues. Understanding that his clients are often under significant stress and dealing with highly emotional matters, whenever possible Mr. Graber helps them to settle their differences through mediation rather than litigation, however he deems his experience in and readiness to perform trial work as extremely helpful in acheiving fair and equitable mediated results.

After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in finance from Long Island University in 1986, Mr. Graber earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Bridgeport School of Law, nka Quinnipiac University School of Law, in 1990. He subsequently clerked for the Connecticut Judicial Branch for two years, after which he formed the Law Offices of Howard R. Graber. Although Mr. Graber commenced his career as a general practitioner, which included trial by jury and to the Court, he quickly turned his focus toward "family law". Mr. Graber is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and New York.

Mr. Graber has shared his extensive legal knowledge and experience in a variety of print and broadcast media outlets. His commentary has been included in publications such as People magazine, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, and he has appeared as a featured guest on national television shows such as "Geraldo", "Nancy Grace" and "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren", as well as on local broadcasts. To stay connected with his colleagues and keep up with the latest developments in his field of practice, Mr. Graber maintains memberships in a number of professional organizations, including the Connecticut Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
